Ive heard with the rumblings going on at Bradford that they might not be a league club come next season and as the conference doesnt have to accept them they might end up playing in the unibond.
What implications does this have?
Will the league keep one of the relegated sides up or will they promote an additional team from the conference, if so who? Playoff loser or runner up.
Of course i think we all want the club to stay afloat because i for one would not like this to happen to anyone but anyone have an idea on the league rules?

I would think that for one season there would be 91 teams in the League, they would then readdress the balance the following season (where or how I'm not too sure)...if however, they would wish to keep 92 then I think Carlisle United should stay in the third... Hopefully however, it won't come to that...but from what I have read it certainly doesn't look good for Bradford City, not good at all...

Wasn't it Maidstone who last dropped out of the league? Can't remember what happened to other teams though................................................

I think if Bradford fall out before thefixtures are realeased Carlisle will get back in, in the same way Telford got back in the Conference a few years back at the expense of Slough

The Football League has a built-in allowance for one or two clubs to disappear, so likely they will keep all as-is for this year.

Guess they have tried every other which way to stay up over the years then this one might just be their ace card this time.
Hope not, they are well past their sell by date.

The League have already said many times that if one team goes bust or can't fulfil the fixtures then they will run with one short in that division. There will be no reprieves or additional promotions.
