Wish Connor nothing but good luck.
He stuck with us to get us back into league one rather than chase the cash at Swansea and has earnt this move.
Just hope we've got a good deal - wish clubs wouldn't use this undisclosed nonsense though!

Real shame to see him go, I reckon our prospects in Lg1 just took a massive blow. He showed us great loyalty by turning Swans down and I doubt there are many town fans who will wish him anything other than their best!! Good luck to him!!

Thanks for everything. Proper pro, did well to stick with us despite interest from prem clubs, and pressure from his 'agent'. Fully deserves his move, wish him the best of luck in the championship. Hope they do well now. Gutted we didn't get to give him a send off last night though.
Any ideas on fee?

The shrewsweb seems to indicate all was not well prior to the move, by stating Connor declared himself unfit on Monday!!

Well done Connor on your move. Pleased that your decision to stay on after relegation was mutually beneficial as we bounced back at the first attempt and you got the promotion medal you desperately wanted and deserved.
Whatever happens next, hopefully the transfer fee will be invested or spent wisely to secure the clubs future for years to come.

I would go so far as to say A First Class Act.

Great move for the lad.
Thanks for everything and good luck.
Any fan who says anything negative about him should find something else to do than support the club.

I can't think of a player we will miss more! Sad day for STFC from a squad perspective but hopefully positive financially. I'd like to thank Connor for his loyalty and commitment as a Shrews player. Wishing him lots of luck and even more success at Brighton. Sorry we didn't get the opportunity to say cherio but hopefully see you back at The Meadow some day when I have no doubt you will get a resounding applause.

Hmm, I guess we will never know what that was all about but no doubt many on here will speculate as to the reason why . We move on and you never know we may unearth one of our young players who will come through the system to do us proud. I can only wish Connor all the best and hope he goes on to have a long and very successful career in the higher Leagues . He certainly did us proud and will be a great loss . It will be interesting to see how our players respond to this . I just wonder what's going through Ryan's mind at the moment , will he be the next one through the door ?

Bit classless of the club to reference the hamstring and obviously in response to b and a.
Just wish our captain, longest serving playrr, youth team graduate and player of the season good luck.

That's a great move for the lad. He has all the qualities to do well and develop in the Championship and who knows what may happen in the future. And another product of our youth set up too. I noticed Dom Smith scored and was captain of the development team this afternoon. Let's hope some of Connor's attitude has rubbed off on him. Good luck Mr. Goldson.

I've always considered Connor to be my surrogate son.
I moaned like hell when GT sent him on loan to Cheltenham, when he should have been in our first team. I have to say, I'm not sure if Brighton is the right move for him, but if he's happy, then so am I.
Good luck, young man, I wish you nothing other than the very best of luck, I'm sure your talent will shine through, and you'll soon win over the doubters at your new club.
Regards,
J.T.

Connor -thanks for everything and good luck! Always thought you could go on to do very well. This feels like the right move - just let those Brighton fans know that you are not there to keep the bench warm...

Fee is 250k initial payment then 125k on 20 Appearences, and another 125 on 40
10% sell on clause

I suppose you have to consider what we would have got from a tribunal or in January.
Heard MM really disappointed with what Brighton offered
