Well if they get through this round I think they pick up £230,000 so the money isn't going to run out just yet. And another season in the WPL rattles by with TNS winning the league by October in front of 100 people. Attendances 2014/15 The New Saints have average gates of 367 from an aggregate total of 5864. Highest gate this season is 578 and the lowest 201.
Never let the facts get in the way of a ggod story eh ?

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOW 367 for a team of full time pros! The good folk of the borders have swollen the gates there! But please accept my humble sorrow for MASSIVELY underestimating the fanbase of this titanic club!

Newtown vs Valetta (Malta) in the Europa League tonight.
Heard it's a sell out and a couple of ex salopians play for Newtown too.
Winners of the tie will play Danish giants, FC Copenhagen.

Nice ground Newtown, more different shaped stands than I've ever seen elsewhere!

Are they able to play the return at home? Sure they had to play at Rhyl one year.. Why was that?
Was it because the grounds in England but they represent Wales?

Their fixture was played at Rhyl last year because their pitch at Park Hall didn't meet UEFA or FIFA criteria. They had a new 3G surface laid in May and it's now good for UEFA Champions League games. So they're playing at home on Tuesday.

Horrible club, can't really bring myself to wish them well, killed Oswestry Town FC and WPL football away from the people of Llansantffraid. Take it you don't like Dagenham & Redbridge much then Schizo

Take it you don't like Dagenham & Redbridge much then Schizo They were formed from several mergers weren't they? Similar to Rushden & Diamonds. To be fair I'm not local enough to those areas to care about them but Oswestry Town FC were at one time the third biggest club in the county in their NPL heyday. Sorry but for me TNS are no different to MK Dons, I'm just not interested in them but I keep an eye on how other Mid Wales clubs are doing like Newtown and Aberystwyth.

Delirium in the Oswestry area last night after TNS disposed of Torshavn to reach the next qualifying round. Makes a change I suppose.

Some famous names disappeared to end up with what is now Dagenham and Redbridge. I think slight difference between them and TNS is Dagenham as a club played at the same ground it was the club that went round eating up local teams and grounds to end up as Redbridge who then moved into Victoria Road and finally joined Dagenham was the problem. Walthamstow Avenue and Leytonstone were both former FA Amateur Cup Winners who after several mergers are part of Dagenham and Redbridge. Would be interesting to know who owned the grounds that disappeared and where the money went. Two grounds in East London which now have flats/houses on them must have gone for a far bit

I thought that Walthamstow Avenue ground was still being used? sadly not. Flats sell for £220,000 instead there.

Think Schizo is refereeing the game, judging by some of the inconstant decisions

I see that Polish lad who played for Wrexham is now with TNS. And their full back. Wilde who played for Chester too is a funny one. He went to Fleetwood but didn't kick on but had always scored goals. He looks like a league player.
