A rather indiscreet picture appears on the Oxford gallery, revealing a little more of Jermaine's underwear than is decorous. Whilst some way short of offensive it does raise one or two questions: 1) Are these official 'club' pants, in the regulation shades of blue and amber? If so, are they available for discerning supporters who take their match day lingerie seriously? 2) if the answer to both the above is 'yes' then are we permitted to know whether these are top of the range designer briefs, consistent with the aspirations of a forward looking football club, or are they merely from the cheap-and-cheerful, scattered across the floor, Primark collection? 3) Why do many young men today wear their trousers slung so low that their y-fronts are on permanent public display? Pull your bl**dy trousers up!

Talking of pants, I stopped wearing my lucky home pants after the defeat by Northampton, but following the dire - oh sorry got to be more supportive - fantastic but unlucky performance against Cambridge tried them again against Oxford... We got the win and were lucky to do so, so was it down to my pants? Should I wear them against Portsmouth?

I thought it was also to do with the fact that prisoners did not have belts and so their trousers hung low
Either way it's pants

from one 'in the know' about these things.....in Young Offenders establishments, and in prison, wearing your kecks very low is taken as a sign that 'you are available'....
