Derry was the messiah at the start of the season, but has started to rely on loanees in last few months - sounds familiar!
Their chief executive also left last week for the mighty Sc***horpe Utd - rats deserting a sinking ship.

Anyway, I'd be just a little disappointed to see them come down this season. Would be a decent game for us next season, and it would be so much fun to have a hand in their demise!

Accrington were also founder members and although they will admit they are a little club, they are not Poxy. Hope Derry gets a better job soon, he worked wonders keeping them up last season. Even Fergie would struggle to do that this time round.

Stanley made made it into the FL in the 1920's.

Same town and followed by a far nicer set of people than those urchins alongside the Trent.

As fun and entertaining as it is to take the p**s out of Notts County their difficulty in sustaining league one football is perhaps a lesson for us that we've a long way to go to be comfortable in that league too.
A) lets get promoted and b) not cock it up again when we do. Then the ripping of sides like county will be so much more fun

Since Trew bought the club in 2010 there have been 7 "permanent" managerial appointments so far.

Ex-Nottingham Forest Manager Paul Hart and Academy Coach Mick Halsall have been put in temporary charge of Notts County, BBC Radio Nottingham reports.
Halsall and 61-year-old Hart, who was interim academy boss, have taken over after Shaun Derry's sacking on Monday.
Notts are just one place above the League One relegation zone, above the bottom four on goal difference only.
They had hoped to appoint a new manager before facing fellow strugglers Sc***horpe United on Saturday.
Notts have won just three games in 24 league matches since November.

Would love to play Notts County again, always a great away day with Hooters thrown in.
By the way, if any one thinks Accy is a nice little friendly club, then check out why the past Chairman left.

Their fans are always friendly in the Crown, which is something I have not found in Nottingham pubs As for the Accy chairman, I think you will find an underlying current of racism in that part of the world.

Notts County are in talks with former Tottenham skills coach Ricardo Moniz about becoming their new manager, reports BBC Radio Nottingham.
The 50-year-old played for several teams in his native Netherlands and held numerous coaching positions before joining Spurs, where he worked under Martin Jol from 2005 to 2008.
Notts, who are 20th in League One, sacked manager Shaun Derry last week.
They are expected to comment on the managerial situation within 48 hours.
Notts are only clear of the relegation zone on goal difference from Crawley following Saturday's 1-1 home draw against fellow strugglers Sc***horpe United.
Moniz followed Jol to Hamburg in 2008 before going on to become the first manager to win the league and cup double in Austria with Red Bull Salzburg in 2011-12.
He also became boss at Ferencvaros and Lechia Gdansk, and was sacked from his last managerial job at Bundesliga 2 side 1860 Munich in September.

Notts County have confirmed former Hamburg boss Ricardo Moniz as their new manager on a three-year contract.
The Dutchman, 50, last month rejected the chance to replace Shaun Derry for family reasons, but has now agreed a deal with the League One strugglers.
Chairman Ray Trew said Moniz's arrival would bring a new level of excitement.
"Ricardo has a fantastic reputation, not only for the style of football he plays, but also his ability to spot and nurture young talent," said Trew.
"In Ricardo we have found that because, having spoken to him at length, his footballing philosophy is one of structured attacking play, which I hope is something that our fans will buy in to.
"I know that when I come to Meadow Lane I want to be entertained, I want to be excited by what I see out there on the pitch."
Notts are one point from safety with six games left, having slipped to 22nd place after three consecutive draws under Paul Hart, who stepped up from his role as acting academy manager to become interim boss on a temporary basis.
Moniz held numerous coaching positions before joining Tottenham, where he worked under Martin Jol from 2005 to 2008.
He followed Jol to Hamburg in 2008 before going on to become the first manager to win the Double in Austria with Red Bull Salzburg in 2011-12.
Moniz has also managed Ferencvaros and Lechia Gdansk, and was sacked from his last managerial job at Bundesliga 2 side 1860 Munich in September.
Dave Kevan, who returned to the club last week, will work as assistant manager to Moniz, alongside goalkeeping coach Kevin Pilkington and strength and conditioning coach Mike Edwards.

Former Notts County caretaker manager and academy boss Paul Hart has said he never wanted to take charge of the Magpies on a permanent basis.
Hart, 61, left the club following the appointment of former Hamburg boss Ricardo Moniz on Tuesday.
County drew all three of their games under Hart, who charge following the dismissal of Shaun Derry in March.
"It was always on the understanding that a new manager would be appointed," he told BBC Radio Nottingham.
"I never expressed a desire to have the job, I was doing it to help the players.
"I could have stayed and there was no pressure on me to go by the chairman or the chief executive - I made that choice.
"But that choice was always in my head as soon as Shaun left."
