Sounds pretty promising. Not breaking out the champagne just yet but it would be nice to see us win the league this time around.

Not being cocky, but even when we have lost we have played well.
Very consistent and I can't see it changing.
Keep it going, 8 more wins and we are there

Much like our promo season in 2012 we have that ability to grind out results when we are not playing well or several players are giving just 5/6's. Southend & Carlisle are huge examples of that. I understand that we have only played poorly in a handful of games this season. Hartlepool, 2nd half Exeter but struggle with many more.

Sounds good but records are there to be broken!!! Don't want to tempt fate.

Given our consistency, and our run in (and now those stats) I'd be hugely disappointed if we aren't top 3. Indeed I'd be a little P'd off if we aren't top of the pile.
Still plenty of work to do but we can see the finish line just around the corner now so lets get on and do it early doors and have a few 'meaningless' games at the seasons end.

But have any had to do it via the play-offs?

with 2 key players injured possibly badly injured, MM will do well to get a decent team on the pitch next Saturday. if ever our lads needed some backing it is next week surely. I feel any more talk of going up or as champions is pointless and I would rather have a fully fit squad to talk about and hopefully soon!

Still a healthy cushion for promotion but was not impressed with the long ball play today we're better than that

Presently we are playing into Burton's hands. Burton are the form team, we are far too inconsistent away from home to be champions at present.

How much more consistent away do you think we could be? Since the start of December Town away have W3, D2, L2 of their 7 games (11 points). Burton are W2, D4, L0 out of 6 (10 points). That seems pretty much even to me. Burton have won their last 2 away though, but drew all the previous 4.
Keep the faith, plenty of season still to come.
