Went to see the battle of Nantwich Sat morning and there were a couple of blokes with town scarfs on taking pics. Any one from here?

I was getting the train back after the Chelsea game and was surprised to meet a load of Chelsea fans getting the north bound train back via Nantwich. Surprising amount of fans lived in Nantwich or Crewe.

Thought this may have been a thread about a pre-match punch up between Crewe and Vale hooligans

And I was that fan "Taffy". Was good to meet you (and your team !!). Hope you had as good as night as I did in that fine town of Nantwich :-)
Rounded of an excellent day having seem Westley get his just desserts...
ps. for some reason there has always been a healthy following of Chelsea fans in Nantwich

Name rings a bell but i've only been doing this for 18months or so and you get different people turning up based on location in the country. Always a good laugh and a handy way to fill the non-football summer months (in between trips to London Rd and New Rd for cricket).

Was an excellent evening - one of our bunch was a little bit worse for wear and fell asleep outside the Cheshire Cat in the early hours! May borrow some of my friends armour for the trip to Newport

Quality Battle of Nantwich.
Remember many years ago during the battle of nantwich weekend getting a few of them in Gregs dressed in full roundhead or cavalier regalia. Surreal site seeing these historically dressed figures wandering around a night club.
