Pleased to hear it mate. I've been a Dulwich season ticket holder for the last 4 years and an elected board member of the supporters trust for the last year. Unlike most of the articles appearing at the moment, the situation isn't quite as rosy as it sounds. Owned by property developers and had financial problems over the years. But the growth supporter wise and the work we continue to develop around anti-discrimination is very positive.
Friends with a lot of the clapton lot and their a decent club too, very different to Dulwich mind.
I actually met another town supporter at a game once.

I've been to quite a few hamlet games - I lived about 2 minutes walk from their ground for about 5 years (hence the username on here!)

I remember falling across the Spotty Dog when wandering around at lunchtime when I worked in Stratford. I was looking them up just a few weeks ago when coming across a right-winger's tweet about Clapton. Apparently Clapton has been attracting some unwelcome visitors who are looking to disrupt the anti-racist and anti-fascist stance of the fans.
Clapton fans are also in dispute with the club's owner and tend not to use the club house. Anyway they seem quite a vibrant lot online.
Love potatoes. Hate Fascism.

Clapton is also the first English club to play a game in mainland Europe.

Clapton is also the first English club to play a game in mainland Europe. And the first club of the legendary Walter Tull.

Ahhh did read an article on Dulwich ealier that mentioned an Shrewsbury link - assume that was your good self? Any club with a strong supporters trust is a good thing IMO, how are things there at the moment? Yeah, Clapton looks like they had some unwanted attention from some pretty vile right wing types of late which is a shame and quite worrying as they did a similar number on a group of left wing Magnotsfield fans I believe. What sort of gates do you get at present?

We're averaging around 1000 this year, huge increases year on year for a club at this level. On non league day, the official gate was over 2800.

Will certain pop down when I next have an non-STFC weekend and thier at home! Sounds like a club with a good set of fans and a good ethos!

Went to Hamlet vs Met Police today.
Anyone Southern based highly recommend going, as Clapton was as well.
Att. 1,459! Amazing support at that level.

I went to 2 or 3 games at Dulwich last season (I think it may have been me that Kuliloach met). They were entertaining games with a strong & continuous loud vocal support (think Crystal Palace downsized). Hamlet played a strong, open game orchestrated by a tiny Turk, Erhun Oztumer, a 5'3" midfielder now at Peterborough.
You can take your ale from the bar to the terraces, and you have access to all 4 sides of the ground. Nearby, the Wetherspoons in Denmark Hill is a superior branch of that chain, and the Phoenix in Denmark Hill station also takes beer very seriously. It's a good way to spend an afternoon.
One curiosity is the ultras' favourite song about Tuscany. Apparently, when the stadium was in the planning stage, a local resident complained that it would ruin her view which, she claimed, "looked like Tuscany". The ultras song goes "Tuscany, Tuscany. We are the Dulwich Hamlet, and we look like Tuscany."
