40 mins home for me.
A poor game but certainly the better team, particularly in the second half. Cambridge offered nothing going forward and only really looked solid at the back because we never seemed to find the space or the killer pass to break them down. Akpa-Apro guilty of an absolutely shocking miss when one one first half and was never in the game. I would expect Mangan to start the next game. At the back we dealt pretty well with the powder puff attacks that Cambridge threw at us and for much ofnthe second half we dominated without ever really imposing ourselves or grabbing the game by the neck like we should have done.
Cold too, but a characterful old ground that reminded me a bit of The Meadow.
All in all certainly two points dropped as we were clearly the better team but a pretty poor performance all round so not too unhappy with a point.

We hit the woodwork twice, were denied at the death by a good save, had 2 or 3 chances across the face of goal & squandered a one on one. Away from home against a team very good at their own place. We camped in their half all second period. If that's ''poor'' what the hell constitutes ''good''?
Great effort today & away performances improving by the game IMO and if they continue to do so, we'll win more than enough before seasons end.

Perhaps having reflected you have a point and things weren't as bad as initially thought but still a very frustrating game and I still feel we didn't control the midfield firmly enough and, Jean-Louie's howler aside, no really decent chances until Mangan's late effort which was well hit and well saved. All in all a very frustrating afternoon

Have to take those chances to relieve pressure on home form!

Another vote here for frustrating rather than poor. You could see the frustration on the players faces at the end, I even heard Lawrence exclaim his frustration.
We maybe didn't move the ball around as quickly as we can but there was still some reasonably inventive stuff going on in an attempt to forge openings. I liked the way we didn't resort to lumping it into the box, which would have been pretty stupid anyway once JLAA had gone off, that patience nearly paid off and has done a number of times already this season.
The back line looked comfortable for 99% of the match against a team who I thought were one of the better teams I have seen so far. The fact that they only had one shot on target, a powder puff effort straight into Halstead's arms, says as much about our defensive qualities as it does about their attacking prowess. In Nat Knight-Percival we had the best player on the pitch by a country mile. He has been quality all season and just gets better and better. Peterborough must have some great central defenders.
Funniest thing I heard today - the bloke in front of me shouted "Woods you're bloody useless!" More frustration perhaps, but totally laughable.

He isn't your typical lower league centre back, which are usually absolute brutes who go flying in. He reads the game superbly to make interceptions, great composure to play it out from the back and does everything that you would want from a CB. In my opinion he is best player that we got in the summer.

Agree with most of the above. A frustrating afternoon, but by no means a poor performance. We had 2 or 3 great chances and all the pressure, and Cambridge had nothing. At no point was I remotely worried that they'd score.
Looking at the table, that's actually our best away result of the season. That could be taken as a negative, but I'd choose to look on it in a positive light - we're improving, and if we continue to play like that we'll win more than we lose.

Same here for frustrating rather than poor. I will add that although it was a relitively a clean game with the Ref not having much to do, he did bottle a sending off inside 15 min's. Robbie Simpson should of walked by that point the late challenge on Leutwiler, which he never recovered from and then 3 min's later a kick out at Goldson, the match report say's "running his studs down Connor Goldson’s heel" no it was a kick and so late, if it had of been a train it would be arriving tomorrow. Goldson was booked for a challege that was a copy cat of one 10 sec earlier that had been commited on Passley, but nowt given.
We seamed to a bit more able to break them down after Mangdon came on. Also Passley had a really good 2nd half, if he can keep that up I can see Fulham recalling him and sending Grimmer back.
Yes a frustrating game which seamed like we were the home team and Cambridge had come to us for the draw.

Agree with above and a rarity to stand and felt like I was standing on the riverside. Ellis was immense too.
