Was buzzing for him when he smashed one past Telford in the Shropshire Senior Cup. His celebration showed how hard he had been trying and how much the fans had gotten to him.
All the best Bright!

How many clubs and countries is that now?
Just off the top of my head that's England, Norway, Hungary and India. Possibly Australia?
He's like a jet-setting Trevor Benjamin.
I know RobinHoodShrew holds him in high regard because he had the best looking WAG when he was here. Apparently.

Couldn't take my eyes off her whilst having lunch in Owen's butcher row (Can't remember what it was called at the time). Blonde beauty.

Would hope that he isn't too likely to come back and score against us like many ex players do from this move

And only another 45 minutes of an FA Cup match to put him on the transfer list with Elder!

John Gayle, Jamie Cureton probably beat Bright for the worst STFC striker ever.

It's even better than that. He personally drove him from Tranmere to Planet Greenhous to sign him. You've got to hand it to Bright though. How to see the world with so little talent.

Most of the names that come up were loans or short term conracts.
Bright was on a 2 or 3 year deal, I think.
Simpson paid money to bring Bright and Elder in and paid Marc Pugh to leave. Incredible.

Knew he was at a Greek club before us, so had a look at his wiki - you can also add Netherlands, Malta and Finland to your list. Hasn't played in Australia yet though, I'm sure it won't be long

Don't seem to have the fondest memories of either Simon Sturridge or chris freestone either (although think he did score the only goal against utd in the friendly?).

Yep I think Bright was a free transfer on a 2 year deal whilst Elder was rumoured to be around £90k signing on a 3 year deal. When you think they were also brought in as Grant Holt's replacement, well not hard to see why things went downhill under Simpson And the legacy of Elder & Bright was they were regularly used to justify why we didnt offer long term contracts so I wonder what players we missed out on or lost because of that.

In addition to them I remember the signings of Scott Partridge & Steve Watts by Ratcliffe to keep us up, didnt quite work out John Gayle was also a good shout, never known such a player with a lack of mobility (followed closely by Devon White)

If only Simpson had been locked in the dressing room! Remember him going OTT after scoring a tap in against the mighty AFC Telford in the vitally important SCC final a few years back ha ha!
