Well they are not going to turn it down. I know (I dislike TNS) but why any company would consider investing such an amount in a WPL team is beyond me! I'm sure the 250 or so who'll pitch up for a midweek game at Bala will be rushing to do business with this company!

I'd want to be a director for throwing that sort of cash around tho!

The owner of hungry hippo or whatever the business is called is also the owner of the new saints. Just a way round the financial fair play rule is all.

Yeah Mike Harris, chairman of TNS owns Planet Hippo (as well as other tech firms) so he's just taking it out of one pocket and putting it in another.
Not sure it's for FFP reasons as TNS make £500,000 a year just from the CL qualifiers, which cover wages, more a publicity stunt I'd guess!

I follow Newtown. I wonder what they'd make of a 300 grand donation! I thought when less money was going to TNS, it might make the league more competitive, and increase gates. Ah well........

Follow Aber........not much fun when a club has the league sewn up by boxing day! Remember when Bangor beat TNS on the last day a few years back to win the league at Farrah Rd, TNS about 25-30!

I have known Mike for years, he is a local lad from that area and has always wanted to develop his club and local Welsh football in general. You can't knock it and fair play to him!

I wonder how many local Welsh footballers are in the team. TNS was always referred to as Ten Nasty Scousers.

Thinking about it though, that title could now belong to Telford.

I follow Airbus, they keep having a go at taking TNS' crown but seem to just fall short each season.
Champions League is a massive bonus for whoever makes it in that league, but it can all end in tears.....look at Barry Town a few years ago, winners every year....plug pulled by the backers and the Administrator is breathing down your neck!
