Quite a few decent memories there, especially the 3-3 with The Baggies, but will say the crowd vs Blackburn was some 3000 down on that as GM's capacity was only 8k, sorry to pick fault like

Thanks for that. The 3-3 draw with WBA is one of my earliest memories as a Town fan. Were we 0-3 down at one stage? I managed to get hold of the programme and it was my most prized possessions as a kid. Information was so scarce back then if you didn't live local.

We had a team that would really have a go in those days

Thanks Alec
I'm being picky but wasn't the first leg vs Southampton in 1993 a 1-0 loss rather than win?

If I remember right WBA played in our away kit as both theirs clashed with our blue and amber stripes. I definitely remember the head butt I got from a baggies fan as I walked down the narrows, I've still got the scar 33 years on!

Good info. The Blackburn attendance was around 7,300 however. It was probably covered at the time but is Leicester the first time we have ever won away at a top league team in a competitive match?

I remember the home game against QPR in 1975. Dave Collier at RB hardly gave Dave Thomas, and England player a sniff, even though we lost 1-4. 11,000 at the GM that night.
