Who knows apart from the club, the player and his agent? Doubt if the average for League 2 is £1,000 a week.

The average wage in League 2 for the 2010/2011 season was said to £747 per week according to the Daily Mail (cough). Add a bit for inflation and greedy agents, allow for the recession and think of a figure.

Think the wage bill is around £2 million a year which possibly gives some idea of the wages. Although think that is for the club not necessarily just the players
Think a BBC survey last season said average league 2 wage was about £750 a week so would be no surprise if a few of our squad are on that or more

On this subject I have always thought fans should have the right to know how much players of the club are getting payed , you can basically find out how much a premier league player is getting payed so why not league 2? After all In the lower leagues gate money is used much more to pay wages . Then you would know who's here for the money and who's not .

Fans don't have any more right to know the wage of a player than anyone else does about yours it's a private and should be kept confidential. Mine is from everyone other than those who pay it/account for it. My parents have never told anyone what their's is and I couldn't care less what yours is. What benefit will you get from knowing? If a salary was going to be made public knowledge then how many players would refuse to join? If one player is on a significant more than teammates then they will be p**sed off and expect to match it, it will also alert agents into what we will pay. During a relatively lucrative contract a young colleague decided to ''show off'' by dropping his payslip around the bar, he expected it would attract a ''bird'', he was lucky to leave with his teeth.

An engineering company I used to work for had a policy that it was a sackable offence to discuss each other's wage, don't think it was enforceable and ripe for solicitors making money.

With a little bit of digging he could easily be identified and could soon be on the dole and then we'll all know what hes on. Does he pass on other peoples personal details? Although I believe your talking out of your bum.

Not anymore/for long especially from someone who blab's about your income. Has this friend been snooping around the house while the occupants are out?
