I am underwhelmed at the draw, but over the moon about the cup run, I am very happy with all things STFC, it is possible to be happy about what is occuring but being slightly dissapointed at the cup draw.....Hope very much that we progress, but am sure the team will do its best to achieve that.

The thing is the likes of your Leicester and Norwich Citys etc will play their second string young players, the type of players we brought on loan last season who we found to be not good enough and firt enough and were a major contribution to our relegation.
I hope they do play their second string players it will help us to progress.

Id be surprised if they played a team full of kids. We have beaten a championship side at home and a premier league side away so they know we will give them a game. Below is the team that started at home to Crawley, a few kids but also a few recogniseable names. 26 Rudd 05 Martin 02 Whittaker 17 E Bennett 03 Cuéllar 33 Callan-McFadden 21 Murphy 29 Surman 16 Loza 10 Jerome (Becchio - 80' ) 25 Murphy (Hall-Johnson - 65' )

I agree Fred, but when you now look at the amount of top flight teams that are out, and that at least anothe 5 premiers**te teams are not going to be in the 4th Round draw, that will be attractive and incentive for top Championship teams to want to progress. (If that makes any sense)

Good point Downie, I don't think Norwich will field an overly weak team as there will be money to be had in winning a few games.

The way we playing at the minute I look forward to the opportunity of watching Salop.
So personally I’m delighted to get a home draw and I don’t care who it is against.

Disappointed as they have started off really well in the Championship and even an under strength side saw off Crawley fairly easily. Add to that our dire head to head record against them and It seems hard to get too excited. But home advantage is definitely in our favour and let's hope that GM remains a fortress by the time the tie comes round

None of the players on either team will have been involved in previous games, so how can that be a factor at all? I think it's a decent draw. They're obviously favourites but we have a fair chance. Could be a good game and we should look forward to it and try to reproduce the atmosphere we had at Leicester. After all, next season it might be Norwich in the PL and Leicester in the Championship.

I agree about the head to head thing but you do wonder why certain teams seem to have a hoodoo over someone else even though it's historical.
