No.
I’m all for creating a cauldron of noise – every game - but I hate it when these things are anything other than a grass roots fans initiative. When we get “Chief Executive’s” of the FL exhorting us to “MAKE SUM NOIZE!!!” I’m more likely to go on a sponsored silence to spite the bastids.
Still if there are any slack-jawed, mindlessly enthusiastic Town fans out there with the irrepressible personality of an eager to please Labrador puppy who want to give it a go, then knock yourselves out…

B&A Fanzine will be providing hundreds of balloons for this. We've had a pretty crap two years, and now before this season turns into the biggest disappointment ever we have one afternoon where people can have a bit of a laugh and wear an old shirt and play with a beach ball. I mean, come Accrington in the sleet this will seem a long time ago. Embrace it with both of arms of your cold-hearted body!

Yeah but you only have those balloons left over when they didn’t arrive in time for the Great Escape (sic) match last season (Stevenage?), and you gotta use them before they perish!
You can tell this initiative was dreamt up by people wearing suits in a meeting room with a very shiny table. And apart from the one near the flip-chart (the woman, mid 20’s, power dressed, with a shortish skirt and firm tanned legs…) I wouldn’t trust them too much to come up with good ideas.
I say that as someone who spends a lot of time wearing suits in meeting rooms, usually making bad decisions. Shortish skirt, pudgy white legs.

i would be willing to cheer and applaud when there is something to cheer about. precious little in the last 2 seasons. this season will be different. do hope i can get up for the cheltenham game, perhaps there may be 3 reasons to cheer from our strikers.
how about young albert stroller as cheer leader. time he reappeared on these boards. flippin fish is no substitute!
