What you have bear in mind Chris is that......... CARDIFF ARE SH*T.Tell me that in nine months! No need to wait 9 months - we'll tell you often between then and now. Anyway, how do you feel about having sold Caulker? You seemed to think he was fantastic, so it must be a bit of a blow.

You seemed to think he was fantastic, so it must be a bit of a blow. Not too worried. This is the most confident I've been ahead of a season for a while. Attacking wise, we're very strong. Kiko Macheda, Javi Guerra, Adam Le Fondre, Mats Dæhli, Craig Noone, Peter Whittingham, Jordon Mutch and Joe Mason. Only downside is Kenwyne Jones... Looks like Caulker to QPR, Campbell to Leicester and Medel to Inter Milan. Expected to lose those three when we got relegated. I find it a miracle that David Marshall is staying. Arguably the best GK in the Premier League last season. Defensively, still relatively strong. Defensive midfielder in Dikgacoi from Palace. Juan Cala, Ben Turner, Fabio, John Brayford, Mark Hudson... Can see why we're favourites to win the league with this team: Marshall Brayford Cala Turner Fabio Mutch Whittingham Dikgacoi Dæhli Le Fondre Macheda You did ask

Well I'm sorry but having been to both Cardiff and Blackpool during my Shrewsbury years, my experience is that Cardiff has to be the most intimidating club and fans ever. I believe I put on a similar post to this that while going to Swansea for their last game was a joy, Cardiff was just frightening. Can add nothing to what others have said about that day. I suspect that IF Blackpool fans behaved badly when playing Cardiff, it can only be because they feared what might happen if they looked 'soft'.
I too dread ever getting Cardiff in a cup game.
On the subject of this thread, however, if Blackpool fans are in for a season like we had last time, they really do have my sincere sympathy.

To take it one point at a time: 1/ "Just horrible fans in general." - Generalisation something you are good at - unacceptable. You are talking like you know the fanbase well. I think not
2/ "I don't know how you missed the trouble on the street before and after the match." - Because there wasn't any trouble on the streets we were on and there were plenty of mixed fans. We were round Wembley Way for a while and absolutely nothing. Again I challenge you why you never mentioned this before when we were talking about the match on here?
3/ "This is the club who got ahead of themselves when they got promoted. They got too arrogant. Holloway being the face of it." - Really?? Please give examples of their arrogance. In particular Ian Holloway as you quote him.
4/ "So no, I have no sympathy for the w****rs." - Another throw away generalisation comment. Not the first time you have displayed real anger and hatred to a person or group of people in your posts on here. I really suggest you have a long stand in front of that mirror Ned and take a good long hard look. All this hatred isn't good for you and your quality of posts on here do I am afraid lend you open to criticism and ridicule.
1) I'm stating a FACT. They were the same when they came to Cardiff for the league fixture in 2010. 2) Just because there was no trouble on the streets you were on, doesn't mean you can say there wasn't any at all. Good job Cardiff were on our guard. 3) Oh come on, you can't deny that. Holloway's press conferences and seeing him crack jokes. He's a barsteward who nerds to be taken down a peg or two. Him and Millwall are perfect for each other. Blackpool players didn't go to commiserate our players from where I was sitting either. In our other defeats at Wembley against Portsmouth and Liverpool, the opposition's sportsmanship was much better. I'm not angry. I just hate the fact that some people think Cardiff fans are thugs, when these days we're one of the most friendly fanbases. Seeing people have sympathy for Blackpool fans too makes me cringe given the reasons I've explained above. They've had their day in the sun, but unlike Cardiff, they'll never be back there barring a big takeover. Cardiff's last home game is against Blackpool. Feel free to pop down and I'll happily buy you a pint to explain how Cardiff are a much bigger club than Blackpool, as you seem to not have worked that out yet. 1/ No, you are tarring everyone with the same bunch. Therefore a sweeping, inaccurate, generalisation. I'm sure there is an element of unsavory 'Pool fans, just like any other club. But I have never witnessed it in all the games I have been to. 2/ I never said there wasn't any trouble. Therefore please don't put words in my mouth. If you are going to quote, please do so accurately. I said I never saw any and I asked the question why you never mentioned it at the time when the game was talked about in the aftermath - something you have still not answered. Oh, and goading, whilst not nice is a bit different to throwing punches, chasing, spitting, vandalising - something I have witnessed with Cardiff fans on a number of ocassions. 3/ So telling jokes is arrogant? I must tell Peter Kay if I ever bump into him. I genuinely can't comment on the commiserating, I was too busy celebrating. I would find it somewhat amazing if there wasn't any. But then again, the last thing a player wants is commiserating after a defeat. 4/ One failed season in the Premeirship and you think you are a big club?? That sounds somewhat arrogant to me. Blackpool are the equal of Cardiff in that they too have had one failed season in the Premiership. I have never thought of them as a big club though. They punched above their weight and did it rather well for three seasons (I include the promotion season and the losing play-oo final the year after relegation). Now what were you saying again abut arrogance?? 5/ Thanks you for the offer, but I will decline as I will be watching the mighty Shrewsbury. Unlike you, I know who I support and I only go to Blackpool games when Town aren't playing. HAve you been to Worcester lately, or will the allegiance only change from Cardiff, as it did from Shrewsbury at a time of struggle. Thank you, goodnight.

What you have bear in mind Chris is that......... CARDIFF ARE SH*T.Tell me that in nine months! I sincerely hope that I can. The sooner you lot kick out Tan and his millions and end up back at your natural level (top half of League One/ maybe scraping around the bottom of the Championship) the better. If you think that when he goes you'll still get to spend the parachute payments on players and wages you're deluded, it will all go to pay off what you'll owe him. Just out of curiosity how many supporters of clubs around the country do you think look for the Blackpool away fixture and consider a weekender? Now how many do you think look for the Cardiff fixture and consider what else they could that weekend? I've done the Blackpool weekender a few times and never had a stop of trouble (apart from forgetting where I was supposed to be staying, but I blame alcohol for that and Mr Wynne to some extent ). I've also been to Cardiff on a few occasions and I've never felt safe enough to even go for a pre-match pint. I've worn Salop colours in pubs all over this country (even in Swansea) and I've never felt intimidated. Strangely I've never felt the urge to do it in Cardiff. I wonder why.

A Six Nations match in Cardiff should be on any Sports fan's list of ''things to do before you die''.Yet the Football Fans are nowhere to be seen why? 1.There are 100,000 + Rugby Fans mixing who can have a laugh and take a good joke without reacting like w****rs. 2.A Pub full of Valley Rugby Club members would make short work of a group of weedy Football Fans who realise this. 3.Lines of coppers aren't shielding the brave ''hardcore''and allow fans to walk together this meaning if you've got something to say you may have to back up your words.

Wonderballs, what was the last Shrewsbury game you attended? I always try and to go to three or four Shrewsbury matches a season. I meet up with family there. Possibly going to the Tranmere game.

I know exactly who I support and that's Cardiff City. I'll always look out for Shrewsbury scores and go to the odd game. Ever since I first went to see us play (lost 4-1 that day by try way) it was perfect. And if you think it's easy to support Cardiff, you are very mistaken! It's true - in five years we'll probably be in League One.

I think people get a bit annoyed when you post about Cardiff all on this forum when most don't want to read it.

One final comment from me too Ned.
When you first came on this board you did so as a Shrewsbury supporting fan, trying to drum up the atmosphere at games and creating a singing section. Setting up a group, holding meetings with the club etc.
You said you liked Cardiff and Worcester as well. So I'm not really sure if you do know exactly who you support. But if you have now worked it out, well done.
I see you haven't come back on the points I made to the first 4 comments, so glad you have seen the error of your ways.
