Can't see 2 + 2 equalling 4 in this part of the world. Think it is far too early for anyone new to be named as a new manager with us.

Thinking about it, some of the best managers we've had in the recent era, Ratcliffe, Simpson, etc, none of them were bald.
Taking on Coleman would be a bit hairy.

Too much hair stops the oxygen getting ones brain, it dulls the intelligence and leads to poor decision making ;P

Bald and perhaps not to trusted. So much for his 'plan'to return Southport to the FL. www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/25301758Win percentage not much to get frothed up about over the last few years... Accrington Stanley 40.20% Rochdale 26.92% Southport 28.00%

From the BBC report, Coleman over the club with them in 18th place, and guided them to ...18th place, unless i've read it wrong. Just the man we want. I'd rather stick with our man, over when we were deep in the poo and guided us to...an even deeper place in the poo. Lets stick with what we know.

He might be a shining example.
Perhaps he shouldn't be a Number. Juan choice.

Not sure he could cut the mustard. There was me thinking, surely some Northern ejit will not come out with the age old Mustard/Coleman gag which we could all see coming over the hill and far away. I was wrong. As far as you know , he could be hot stuff.

How about Coleman to return to his spiritual home of Accrington Stanley with James Beattie coming here?.Beattie, young, aspirational, served his apprenticeship at Stanley with no resources and coming to us would be seen as a step up?
Messageboard rumours, great fun...but just that...fun

Did himself no harm in a tough spell at Southport (according to the Liverpool Echo)

Not sure he could cut the mustard. I think he could bring in a more condimental approach, and apparently he likes our ground.

I cannot stress enough how much of a bad appointment he would be for you.
Results don't tell the full story of his time at Dale. Fans were walking away from the club in droves during his reign. He was given full backing by the supporters and hardly anyone attributed blame from relegation on him. but it was what he did to our team. We became a side of nasty players, who would be cynical with our challenges, dived for fun and would harass the referee every time a decision was given against us. Some might call that modern day football but it never sat right with us. He dispensed with Dale legend Gary Jones for standing up to him, and our messageboard was rife with off the field rumours which came straight from the first team. Coleman himself even posted on their one night such was the intensity of the rumours. Do yourselves a favour and steer clear of him. We had a manager before him who's only experience of football was kids football who tore the Keith Hill team to pieces, but the vitriol is saved for Coleman. That tells its own story.
