One mention of the word Pleb and along pops Billy. Coincidence ? I don't think so. No need for that mate, very cutting. Anyway, I know my place.

Warning this thread is not about football. Firstly can one of the mods please dig out the original Plebgate scandal, would be interesting to see what was said by whom. Incredibly I think that a Tory politician may just come out of this with a better reputation than some Police Officers. My query (that's a dilemma Pab not a poofta like you) is how did so many different officers became involved from so far afield - should we not be worried that elements of the Police force are politically biased and as such act in an unprofessional manner. Further eroding of the Police reputation methinks, I understand there will always be rotten apples but "institutionalised political biase" is a very worrying trend. Now if these Officers have lied or a best deliberately misled the Federation and the public they should surely fall on the very sword that they were demanding Mr Mitchell fall upon. He hasnt popped along to play yet so if I may........

The look on his face when he heard the verdict was worth the TV license fee on it's own.

What is clear to me is the Police have lied and according to the judge Mr Mitchell has lied.
I myself think this appalling.
It seems some on here seem to think this funny..? Perchance if you blinkered lot put you bias aside we may forge a better way for society instead of just doing anything even to the point of detriment to the populace just to have a pop at people who think differently.
There are no winners here, just losers.....the left will not understand that.
now **** off

Dare I say it, I think the article in the Guardian makes for enlightened reading.
Especially concerning class, peerage, the old boy network etc.
And what I continue to find shocking is how public servants in Westminster regularly walk off into a temporary sunset, with promises of returns, protection, feathered nests etc, when they have done wrong.
When did you last see a politician be stripped of office, pay and pension, and hauled through the criminal courts, for wrong doing? The expenses scandal was a very rare occasion.
Yet, continually, the grass roots public servants are hung out to dry as scape goats, vilified as whistle blowers and ruined for life.

Yet, continually, the grass roots public servants are hung out to dry as scape goats, vilified as whistle blowers and ruined for life. This all stems down from Thatcher's Britain. Owen Jones book chav's covers the topic in great detail. The working classes of Britain are portrayed by the media and politicians as needy and weak. Increasing homophobia, racism and class discrimination are becoming regular themes within British society. The press and the elite distract the general populace to look downwards and vilify the working classes. Anything to distract us from question the millions that are missed through tax loopholes among the elite. Call this a lefty way of thinking if you may, I just see it as common sense! This case is absolutely shocking, the way that it has been publicised and the way the public have reacted.

Two institutions in serious trouble and held in increasingly low repute by the country: the Houses of Parliament and the Metropolitan Police.
