Not bad, we looked much better second half partly down to these two. Marsden reminds me of Gornell in terms of size and playing style, drops off to receive the ball with his back to goal. Cofie looks a willing runner with a bit of pace and power about him, didn't really get a chance to see what either has in their shooting locker though.
Neither made me think we've found a brilliant player here, but at the same time they won't play against Champs League standard defences very often, so definitely some potential there.

Cofie (if it was him?) looked fast and strong... Could be decent... If he's been training with us he obviously wants to come here so what's GT waiting for?? Give the lad a pen quick!!

Cofie has potential, but I really liked the look of Marsden. He was always willing to drop deep to receive the ball and both held it up and used it wisely against good opposition. Definitely worth a gamble. I'd be happy with Bradshaw, Marsden, Cofie and/or Asante and an experienced, proven goalscorer... is that too much to ask for?

Marsden look good. Excellent movement, good first touch and I liked the way he always looked for the ball.
Cofie looked very quick, even against today’s opposition, and might be an asset.
However the truth is the team needs an experienced old head to lead the line.

It wasn't Cofie if you listened to Jervis. It was Liam Smith

I agree, I feel if we could have Marsden and Cofie, +1 experienced striker to go with what we've got, I'd be very pleased. Too much to ask?

sign them both up Turner. I like the look of this pair but experienced and proven goal getter is still the top priority

Personally, listening to people ooze opinion I can trust who were at the game, I hope we sign the lads. I've always been proud of the way our club have given a chance to young players. A pint of Marsden's, followed a Cofie sound good to me. As for a captain, that Makin......mako.......that Ex Hereford bloke, whose name escapes me, will do fine as far as I'm concerned.

Any comments re Mkandawire? How was his performance? He looks like defender who is happy to bring the ball out & pass it. I noticed that when he & Winfield were together in the 1st half, Winfield looked more comfortable passing the ball across the back. I think he's going to be captain if fit.

There was a lot more snap up front second half.

I liked what Marsden had to offer, he looks decent.
I particularly liked how he led from the front and at one point gave Cofie a bollocking for not closing down players.

Don't mention COFIE..........a certain snapper is chucking his toys out of the pram on the STFC facebook page that we are taking about him in case Real Madrid are alerted to his availability

He looked strong and powerful which we've not really had lately Marsden does remind me of Gornell - hopefully he will score more Happy Birthday Tel

Cofie was not playing for us yesterday Right, so if it isn't Cofie, who is it? The club need to get a grip. What's the need in using fake names? Pathetic in my opinion.

Perhaps Roland should stand at the top of Lord Hills column and recite a full list of our transfer targets through a megaphone if it would make you feel a bit better?

I'm interested in who it is too, and I'm sure all will be revealed in due course. t's hardly unusual for trialists to be given pseudonyms (if they are even named at all)... it's all part of the fun of preseason.
