Hello, my club Cheltenham have just signed Terry Gornell and I'm just wondering if one of you could tell me about, as I've never heard of him! Thanks

He scored against you when we last played at New Meadow back in 2011/12.
Good player for League Two, tends to score in fits and spurts. Didn't quite do the business in League One and lost his head pretty quickly when he couldn't hit the back of the net, and was shipped out on loan to Rochdale never to return. Good luck el Tel.

Good footballer but lacked confidence in his final half season for us. Was an integral part of our promotion team, though.

definitely had some potential but didn't quite get the amount of goals he should have. in league 1 he didn't get off the mark and it became a bit of a confidence problem. good luck to and with him

With Gornell and Richards, can see Cheltenham doing really well next season. Not surprised if they get promotion automatically.

Decent player who links up with the midfield well. It's time he started really producing as he would often go missing for half a dozen games at a time and his performances in League 1 were shambolic at best. His best form imo came at the end of our promotion season when he formed a successful partnership with James Collins.

Gornell is better than anything we have up front, and Richards will be your best player by a mile. A top league 2 player and is good enough to play in Div 1 as long as he isn't p**sed around with. The sort of players we could do with.? Oh. I forgot. There not good enough for us anymore....................................?

But you're right that Gornell wasn't good enough for us last season (or perhaps for Rochdale either). Still think he has potential and is a good signing for Cheltenham, although I suspect he's unlikely to be effective above League 2 level.

Richards will be your best player by a mile. A top league 2 player and is good enough to play in Div 1 as long as he isn't p**sed around with. So, Matt Richards is predominantly a central midfielder but can also play left back, but cannot make either of those positions his own in a struggling team so we have to accomodate him out of position as captain in left midfield.... I'm sure we could have hung on to Richards, Gornell, Morgan etc but the only certainty would have been permanent stagnation and eventual relegation. Thanks for your efforts lads, and I have a lot of time for all of them for what they did for us in our promotion season, but we need better. Grow a pair, stop whining and wait and see Turner brings in, and lets hope it's not your wonderboy Marc Richards as even I will be worrying then...

Better than anything we've got! Completely agree! Always held the ball up well and was a good link player. Lost his way and confidence a bit here. Think he will be a good signing for Cheltenham.
