Well, this season is all but finished. What were your highlights?
Grandison's solo goal (and the ensuing celebrations) at Notts County.
The rousing choruses of 'Graham Turner's Barmy Army' at Sheffield United.
Seeing more and more Loggerheads return to decorate the terraces on shirts, scarves and hats.
Being able to move away from the jam sandwich brigade at Walsall after a turgid 45 minutes. Sheer relief.
Watching as Swindon's James Collins was substituted and turned to applaud Block 19, only to be met with a volley of abuse.

I think it was the game where Block 19 started singing 'big mac large fries' at Rocksteady the steward down at the front and could clearly him replying 'I don't work there anymore, come on them I'll have all of you' from where I was sat in Row B. Not seen him in that area since

Grandison's goal and our reaction No.1 and similar for Morgan's goal v. Coventry. Tranmere and Preston home and away were decent too.

Sheffield United away - shame about the result, but what a great day otherwise. The realisation we'd actually made it.
Preston home - Great to get carried away on the wave of optimism after this match... shame it didn't last!
The Grandison goal - The thirteen year old lad sat next to me nearly throttled me to death in his celebration.... a great Salop moment.
Swindon home - Collins blasting over from a yard out and the South stand echoing with "What a waste of money!"
Hartlepool away - my favourite away day all season. Brilliant pubs, good support from the few brave Salopians who'd ventured North, and a pretty thrilling 2-2 where we should have grabbed the winner!
Hector being sent back to Reading.
Coventry away - The release of all the pressure when the final whistle went...
Tranmere away - Performance of the season for me.
The Eaves hat-trick

The obvious ones are:
Preston home and away Coventry home (1 home game I missed this season!!!) and away Grandison's goal at Notts County Tranmere away
I too left Brammall Lane last August with an immense feeling of pride in our fans and team. Shame nothing came of it!

First month was really enjoyable. Sheff Utd & Preston (home) in particular were two games where I felt we had arrived in L1 and didn't look out of place
If had to pick one moment would have to be Grandisons goal against Notts County. A lovely sunny day, great away day, decent following, had just equalised, see your cult hero winding through the opposition before the goal arrives in slow motion. Great moment
Generally it's been good to have some new away days and see the reaction of fans of larger teams expecting us to turn up with 50 fans and a pub side. Preston in particular was satisfying, speaking to their friendly but cocky fans beforehand, them expecting to roll us over and they were inviting us back for a drink after the game. We head back there but hardly any Preston fans to be seen.

Grandison solo goal at Notts County - and the celebration that ensued, the Coventry away win on New Years Day and MK Dons away (for the result and the way we won, rather than the matchday experience, which was just surreal) were my highlights.
The general feeling of optimism on the first day at Sheff Utd comes pretty close too.

Being at MK Dons away for me (and I'd add Preston for the manor in which we won it). They weren't just timely away wins, they are the 6 points I believe kept us up. I don't think anyone thought we'd go to MK Dons and get anything. Was an epic night!

Many have already been mentioned already, but one to add would be one of the many excellent saves that Chris Weale has made to keep us in a game.

All the away wins mentioned above. The relief at the end of the Coventry game was immense. The sheer ease of the victory at Tranmere, one of the few occasions this season where I felt comfortable enough to actually enjoy the game. The surreal experience at Stadium MK and the best OG I think I have ever seen live (thanks Anthony Kay.) The slight guilty feeling after stealing the points at Deepdale. That slight guilty feeling was thoroughly cast aside by the enormity of the 3 points gained.
The overall highlight of the season for me though has been the form of Chris Weale - without him I am sure we would already be back in League 2.

Has to be Cov away. Nice easy trip, decent stadium, Town fans there in good numbers, great support from Town fans, decent atmosphere in the away end and a win. What's not to like...

Not too many this season, and due to circumstances unable to get anywhere near the usual 12-14 away games per season, hope to do better next season. The kick-off on the first day of the season....League 1 life begins here. Tranmere away. A superb performance on the night, regardless of them having 10 men. Should have scored 5. Seeing our away end a lot fuller on match days. Not many went home disappointed, but at least they threw their money into our coffers. Use it wisely G.T. Eaves' hat-trick, simply stunning. Rowleyesque even. Hosting the Sadlers at the Beeches and having the craik with 'em. There were some right lads with them, but talking football transcends all barriers. Ther'e just like us really, a small town club following a dream, but Pikeys. Being given an absolute spanking by the above , only to win 1-0. How we laughed, and laughed, and.. Coming home from a p**s-up in Town to find that Bury had won. Good night all around. Too many lows, not enough highs, but enough to see me buy a S.T. for next season. Blind faith or what

Bury's unbelievable result against Scunny with only 13 players available to them. No Schumacher or Bishop either!
Such a relief as after the Bournemouth game I couldn't see us getting another point!

Crawley away. Great away day with the London Shrews with some very random & comical terrace chanting (12 days of Grandison followed by a chorus of "I sneezed on your shirt" to Jones the Crawley keeper). Irrespective of the fact Crawley are a plastic club, at least they have good old terracing.
Pretty decent performance as well. Also Bradshaw's gilt edged miss at the end which could have changed his fortunes as a Salop striker....

Grandison's Maradona esq slalom v Notts County by a country mile. After that I'd plump for the consisent spilling of tea and sausage roll pastry by Shrew Deep in Crewe. All over his jacket and blue and brown scarf every very home game without fail. Filthy bugger!

I have one to add from yesterday, just put it in the just back thread
The ball had been kicked out of play, bounced past our subs slowly along the front of the stand. A lone Colchester fan went to catch it, it was very easy to catch. He somehow dropped it, then proceed to either slip, or just fall over!!!! Got up a few seconds later rather gingerly.
Was laughing so much I couldn't join in the ironic cheers

Again from yesterday. Has to be the fancy dress and the amounts of fun we had not just during the game but on the journey there and back. The only down side was the fact I couldn't wear the Woody helmet as requested by the stewards.
I have to say it was one of the best fancy dress days I've seen as a Salop fan.

Mine has to be Bournemouth away for complete randomness. Out of sheer boredom we loaded up on poppers as they were offering decent discounts on bulk purchases from the shop we grabbed our tinnies from near the station.
Got into the ground absolutely off my tits on the liquid gold, I was nearly as loose as our defending was for the first twenty minutes or so (by which time we'd lost the game).
Led to some of the more unusual chants I've ever heard at a Town game, such as "Jones, Jones I'm looser than you" to the tune of LWTYA by Joy Division. Had quite a few boys joining in who weren't on the good stuff, never quite understood why they sang up.
A dozen vials before, during and after the game, never again my Lord.
Met a great group of lads in town after the game too. Couple of them - Rodrigo and Lucian - are coming over mine on Friday for a wine, cheese and poppers evening. I love my cheese, will doubtless end up getting stuffed.
