Very interesting reading, particularly around point 4/misrepresentation. Despite my signature, B&A is a useful resource that brings fans together, and judging by the amount of users and posts, one of the best ways that supporters can independently share information and engage in debate. It's encouraging that the club recognise this and have invited representatives to engage with them.
As is the nature of these things, rumours will often crop up with little or no basis in reality, but as noted, this often results from poor information provided by the club... but I have noticed an improvement in updates on the official site lately and it will be interesting to see whether this will rectify the situation.

Glyn aside from your wording in itlalitcs are these the official minutes of the meeting? I think it would be good for the CLub to publise these on Shrewsweb. PS Anyone heard the rumour about Roland, a ginger MILF and a bucket of eels?

Thank you all involved for posting the fans reps report . I have only been on B&A for a short time and find it enjoyable, highly amusing and very informative. The comments re the content of posts on this board and the continued vigilance of the mods is interesting. I totally agree that there should be no change to the way it operates , everyone is entitled to voice an opinion which may not be , at times what the "club " want to hear but providing posts are not racial, homophobic or likely to cause legal issues there is IMO no reason to change . It is good that the club have included B&A as a recognised supporters body and it would appear that issues raised , particularly concerning lines of communication have been taken on board. It would have been helpful if a brief resume of what other groups said at the meeting had been included in the report although I understand the reluctance to do so. Thank you again for representing B&A at the meeting and your committment to continue to do so.

Good and interesting to read.
Have to say, on B&A, I hope the club can learn to recognise that supporters forum's are a positive thing in the main. Yes they'll be the odd idiot that spoils it, and yes there can sometimes be criticism but it does provide usual functions.
Maybe another thing that should be mentioned at the next meeting that sometimes gets on my nerves and other people's - at times they expect all the supporters to turn up and support the team and get behind them and then at other times they seem to make decisions that make things as difficult as possible e.g. the original ticket decision with vale, away cup games where they've wanted as high a price as possible and expensively priced friendlies. They also need to decide whether they are a business or a club - all very well saying they can't do somethings because they cost too much, but then again at times they want supporters to volunteer services i.e. brushing snow off the pitch.

PS Anyone heard the rumour about Roland, a ginger MILF and a bucket of eels? Gal The ways it will work as far as I can tell is as follows - Martin sends out email for agenda
Fans reps put forward agenda items Meeting is undertaken Meeting Chairman produced meeting notes (which inlclude all points discussed) Fans reps have oppertunity to review and then pen there own press release (if thats what it is) and put it back to the club Club approve and we can post it up
As such the notes above are based on the notes martin during the meeting... however they have been amended to remove some senstive figures and information and in some places I added in a couple of extra things that were missed off the note but were of intrest. I added in the italics to make sure that where my thoughts were made these were seperate from the issues that martin covered in his meeting notes. On the point I do think its worth asking the club at the next meeting if they are happy with this process or they would like to make a post of the meeting notes?

Interesting points. Very well done. How do we ask questions, however far fetched or minor?

There are some very interesting points made here. I agree with your point about the exit gates onto super blues way.

Something Ive gone on about a bit but can we ask about ticketing/pricing policy for adults
As has been mentioned on several occasions, the extra matchday pricing, plus the cashless turnstyles means that casual fans who want to turn up up are put off. I think its noticable this season that our crowds have not fluctuated a great deal, its great we have a good regular support but we need to try and entice the more casual fan.
The club have some great policies/initiatives in terms of season tickets, family deals, kids for schools etc but I think that this is one area we could do better on.
If there is no scope to change it, could we look into other possibilities, eg buying 3 games at a time and making a saving

Hi Pricey...
What about the atmosphere at the ground? The idea of putting something together for the South Stand? Or do the club think that things are now settled with regards to fan block, singing sections, seat where you like areas etc?
Cheers...

One of the very last things I would like to see is a sit where you like policy in the south stand.
Nothing but hassle, nothing but trouble...no thanks.

The southstand should be a where the noise comes from! In block 19 everyone sits anywhere nobody sits in there right seat and everyone knows if you want a seat get there early it will be the same in the southstand.

Be grateful if you would ask why the tickets for Block 16 are more expensive than the rest of the popular side. (West Stand ) Makes no sense to me at all.

Thats been established for a while, its considered that you pay a preimum for sitting in the very center of that stand as its the best view.... will add it to the very long list.

I,ve heard that hoary old chestnut many times. I just like sitting where i can see the action in a position which is best FOR ME. Others find that, for them, the best view is behind the goal or near the South stand goal where they have a closer view of goal-line action. It's all a matter of choice, and to put a premium on one small area is totally unfair IMHO.
Anyway, thanks very much for taking it forward on our behalf.

Is Block 16 sold exclusively to season ticket holders ? If not, and there are spare seats would I pay more if I turned up at the ticke office and asked for a ticket in that block

Prices are £20 or, if bought on Match day £22, as opposed to £17/£19 which applies to all other blocks apart from Block 16.

It's interesting that none of the other supporters' groups - Shewstrust, Super Blues, or OSC - have issued any feedback on the initial meeting on their respective websites. The OSC does have a message suggesting that fans can submit questions to be raised at future sessions.
Thank goodness for B&A, because without Glyn's feedback, your average supporter would be left totally in the dark.
