Heard on Radio Shropshire and from some mates who went down to Daggers today and all agree that was never a sending off offence. INTERESTING TO SEE THE HIGHLIGHTS LATER!!!

Well, we were a lot further away than the Radio Shrops guys but my initial reaction was that it was a red. I was in the minority though Having said that, that was the worst refereeing performance I have ever seen in professional football. I have never seen a referee visibly react to supporters chants like that nor have I ever seen a referee's performance change as a result of player, manager and supporter pressure like his did in the last 30 minutes.

OK, his performance changed coincidentally with player, manager and supporters pressure.

good and just proves more how much of a bad ref he was because he buckled under pressure

Bizarre, no real calls from players or supporters for Wallace to be sent off which is perhaps why most surprisingly the red card was shown.
Thought the first half refereeing performance was dire.

It was comical, especially enjoyed the escort Ainsworth got from the pitch.
Having said that i probably wouldn't have found it so funny had we failed to win...

Personally thought it looked like Wallace slipped and ended up with two feet off the ground.
We were the other end of the pitch though so would like to see the incident again.
No-one has commented that Wallace's tackle came as a result of the ref getting in the way of Richard's run......

Ref was a joke, when he gave that corner at the start of the second half, to massive sarcastic applause, he just stared into the away end with a ridiculous smile on his face.
Luckily enough, the quirk of the tunnel being in the away end meant Mr Deadman was more than aware of how the Salop fans felt about his performance. The lino in front of the terrace wasn't much better either!
But the Wallace decision itself, firstly he got in the way, then is it even a red card tackle ignoring the fact he got in the way, and then he couldn't get his card out quick enough.

Having just seen it, there is no way that was a red card.
Foul and a booking, yes - which is why I doubt it would be overturned as the authorities will look after their own.
Have to say that the penalty and red card for the daggers player looked a bit soft, I thought Collins was looking for it and the ref was perhaps evening the game up numerically.

From seeing the highlights I it that it wasn't two footed. Did I see wrong?
I really didnt think there was a lot in it, I think red was harsh...

Modern game you are late and studs come down on top of players foot/ankle red card all day long.
Interesting point though, someone else posted Referee could not get card out quickly enough, in fact if you watch it that is not correct. He thinks about it and you see him going to his right handpocket before switiching and going to left hand pocket which had red card in it

Looked a bit reckless but no foot off the ground so a little harsh. We should appeal but given that the ref was just a couple of yards away can't see it being overturned.
Could be the last we see of Wallace as he's on a months loan so with a 3 match ban it's not worth him staying.

having had us scream at him for letting port vale get away with that goal how on earth can we argue with him for giving a red there shame this ref isn't in the premiership, carragher gets away with tackles like that most weeks

Cirtainly not two footed but definatle a poor tackle with studs streight onto the lads foot. From what radio salop said i was expecting to see a harsh red card on the replay but as far as im concerned it was a red card tackle. Shame because he seemed to have started well.
