Now this is what you call a family club.
A little boy is put in front of a section of singers.
Here is the end result

Yeah, lovely family club. Yeah thats a disgrace. Celtic is team supported by many Irish and thats no shock but the way they let the kid take charge is brilliant

Of course the hearts fan are perfect, remind me what happened last season when Celtic played hearts. All clubs have a minority of idiots including STFC, people in glass houses shouldn't throw stones.

Not sure what you are basing your comments on, but as someone who has experienced the 'Queensferry Jambos' first hand I can assure you that they are not all sweetness and light. Oh, and I suspect that the word you were trying to use was 'fenian', a derogatory term used by one lot of bigots to upset another. Take a look at some of the filth posted on the Bear's Den (Rangers forum) and then tell me that Rangers are in any way preferable to any other fans. Scottish football (and society) has enough problems without ill-informed Salop fans getting involved (IMO).

The thing I'll never understand about Celtic is if they are so proud of Ireland and their roots blah blah .... Why are they still in Scotland?
Disgusting club, disgusting manager, disgusting fans.
The lyrics to "the famine song" sum them up perfectly.

Maybe earlier posters who are ignorant of the situation in Glasgow should listen to the absolute rubbish that Rangers fans think are acceptable. The famine song is just one example of the disgusting attitude of some Rangers fans.

So now Brothers and Sisters,
let us all toast as one,
And we'll drink to our Ulster,
It's Heroe's and Sons,
And while we are toasting,
Two names we must join,
That of William Prince Of Orange,
And the banks of the Boyne.

This version of "Glasgow Celtic IRA" is a cracker from the "credit to the game" Celtic fans.
Seems a large amount joining in for a "minority" of mindless fans?

Been to Torquay for a few days, was any poster on here the Scots guy in the East Stand against Accy, who asked me if we had a bookies at the ground? Obviously a new supporter, but he dashed off, didn't get the chance to say "hello".

Dirty horrible finnan (sic) barstewards, Well, that's put a stop to the sectarian nonsense The word 'Fenian' is not sectarian nowt to do with religion. The first Irish rebels to take on the occupying British named them selves 'the Fenian's', there is a Fenian street in Dublin ..heck even Celtic fans chant 'Paddy Mcourts Fenian army' 'Dirty orange B*stards' now that is a phrase with sectarian connotations

Maybe best to delete this car crash of a thread. The cops up here are nicking (up to 8 months in the pokey) for folk posting sectarianism stuff on the internet and this thread I'm afraid is glowing with it.
For what it's worth, Celtic fans have huge beliefs surrounding their club and some have bigger beliefs in other things that they try their best to relate to the football club.
Personally, I'm delighted Shrewsbury Town are not involved in any other nonsense other than football.

Amazed there are so many Salopian's so well versed ( ) in the complex 'politics' of the West of Scotland/NI. Indeed there have been cracking threads on the subject in the past. Unfortunately this isn't one of them.
