would just like to say how much this kid has improved over the last few months , he is a completely different player to the one that played vs toruquay in the play off semi finals! well done to GT for keeping faith in the young lad as well

GT post match again talked about his potential to play at a higher level and to be fair to the manager, he was doing that when many on here had written him off. He now seems to offer something both at right back and centre half................... it was the first real time last night that I thought him and Ainsworth looked on the same wavelength, having previously thought Wright and Jacobsen were a more dangerous partnership on the other side. You can get about 14/1 on Grandison scoring a goal at any time and thinking about recent games, he's not that far away............................. and then there will be a celebration

Has he scored a goal at any time for anyone? Only played a handful of games on loan for anyone prior to signing for us so not much chance

I will make no qualms about it, he is my favourite player and seems to be many other's too!
You wont get a more entertaining player at this level and he is very quickly becoming a brilliant Right Back... I personally prefer him as a RB down to his attacking play, although it would be very hard to deny him a place at CB after the Arsenal game.
I can't wait for him to score... It will be a wonderful moment!

It's nice to see us improving a player at the club. We've had too many young players with promise over the last five years that we haven't got the best out of, so it's nice to see players like Ainsworth and Grandison putting in consistently improved performances on last season and the teams benefiting as a result

Agreed. Still only 19 though so will have his ups and downs yet. Hope the crowd stays with him on the days things don't go his way. Superb entertainer - what a right wing pairing he and Ainsworth make!

Exciting and entertaining player which every team needs. I have wondered could he do a role in the centre of midfield making driving runs??
Something different!
Celebration - please no back flips - not with our defensive injuries this season!

TBF he wasn't the only player to under perform against Torquay. I think the arrival of the great Reuben has helped him too. I'm more concerned about the players going the other way - is Wrighty really doing his stuff? Has Ben Smith lost the plot? Has Sharps lost a yard?

A lot of posters on here were slating him last season Well noted! It would appear some posters change their opinion with the flip of a coin. A lot seemed to forget how young the lad was last season when he appeared to be everyone's favourite to have a moan at. As stated in some of my posts before, I can see him playing in central midfield one day. He certainly has plenty of decent attributes, power, strength, pace and some fine silky skills! Just needs to remember not too give us all heart attacks and do his infamous step overs and drag backs on the edge of our box! One of the first names on the team sheet at present!

Town supporters have ALWAYS in the 35 years or so that I've been following them have to have some player or other to moan at. It is just far worse now with an internet forum and a few keyboard warriors

To be fair he was an absolute liability last season but this season he has been another class. Personally I can see him playing a Yaya Toure kind of role in the team, although he is strong in the air I feel he is largely wasted at centre back although him playing at right back does give us an attacking outlet of sorts I do worry about us being caught out at the back as he can end up so far up the pitch.

He'll never be a midfielder, I rate him but he doesn't have the composure to play midfield. To be honest at Rotherham he looked uncomfortable at Centre Back and then blossomed when moved back to right back. As previously said. He'll have his bad moments and that's when we need to stick with him. The lad is still learning. I still think he over uses the step over. In their half of the pitch fine. He actually did one last night with nobody near him on a run and it slowed him down to enable the defender to get a foot in but he's now under pressure from the crowd to do it. He's a defender not an entertainer.
Also... talking of crowd favourites I think 90% of the crowd on Tuesday actually ejaculated when Taylor come on

Disagree he was a liability last season, it was only the games against Torquay that he was - unfortunately there were 3 of them and 2 were among the highest profile games. It was like he couldn't deal with Robinson, or something had gone on between the two as he was diving in a lot. But there were a lot of other games last season where he was very good too, especially in the first few weeks of his arrival.

I agree that 'Grandison was a ruined mess' school of thought is one of the developing myths. He had three bad games against the same player, and his confidence was a little low, but the beast within never disappeared.

Perhaps Northampton away in a few weeks time will lay any remaining little demons to rest

Turning into a good player and very entertaining. Oh how I wish he had scored after that scorching run Tuesday .

Just seen an interview with Jermaine on Shrewsplayer, he comes across as a great lad, who just enjoys his football. James Bond interviewing him was cringeworthy at times though, and the interview lasted 11 minutes, the poor lad was praying for it to end!

Anyone who saw him at Southend would not question his composure, the guy played himself into danger, got hunted down by two southend players before turning one way and then the other, with a couple of step overs and jinks and emerging with the ball.
Plenty of composure, some would say possibly too much!
