Defo showed his worth having just seen our goals from yesterday. For the second he beat the Swindon lad as if he wasn't there and a superb cross at the end of it too... We don't want to be losing this lad!!

We don't want to be losing this lad!! ...............don't expect us to offer him a contract extension ........it's not Rolands way yer know!! Thats why we are still stuck in the 4th. division.

People do get offered new contracts at the club. They have the right to accept, reject or hang fire on the offers, in the hope of getting mega bucks somewhere else. Just ask Mr. Davie$.

We shall need Lionel Ainsworth for the Arsenal game - and he will want to impress Mr Wenger.

I think it would be folly to not try and get maximum reward from Mr Ainsworth.
That of course could work in two ways, financially or on the field.
For me keep him he adds to the team in so many ways - yet if we can't maxmise the cash income.
Ground zero would be STFC not getting a penny.

I'm always very sceptical of these "stories", but it did occur to me on Tuesday when I saw Pulis that it was strange for him to come and watch upcoming opponents who would be playing (as it turned out) 5 of the players he's likely to face. Swansea had declared early they would be playing fringe players so it's possible there is a modicum of truth in the story. That is EXACTLY why Tony Pulis was there. The Grahams and Sinclairs of the Swansea team play week in week out so his scouting reports are well up on those lads. Its the fringe players that might come on with 15 mins to go he needs to know about. You can hear him now. "Saw this lad at Shrewsbury 4 weeks ago, no left foot but cuts in alot looking for the shot"

I'm pretty sure the sell on percentage we agreed with huddy for such an inexpensive deal makes selling him less appealing, which is good news.

Sharps, Wroe, Ainsworth, Bradshaw, Leslie, Smith, McAllister, Cansdell-Sherriff, Neal off the top of my head Very early to say i know, but all of those players should be offered a contract now, other then Leslie, Smith and Neal. Wroe, Bradshaw and Lionel for definite.
