one way traffic both halves maybe Arsenal was still fresh in their minds maybe Swindon ran out of steam maybe it was a good half time team talk by turner a win is a win no matter how you get there in the end

On Shrewsplayer they were on about the swirling wind and the effect that was having on the match hence the reason Swindon chose to change ends. The wind was a big factor. Couldn't work out its direction but the away end seemed much harder to defend. They exploited that and made the first half uncomfortable. I think they also ran out of steam after closing us down early on (much as Burton had). It was an excellent team effort and result as not many came close to reaching the heights of Swansea with their individual performances. It's very encouraging for the league season that we could do that.

According to Swindon sources he laid into his team at half time for not being good enough despite the fact that they had bossed the game and were 1 up. He then made 3 substitutions early in the second half which certainly didn't improve things. Their number 9 had been causing us problems..his replacement was useless.

To be fair the number nine was Leon Clarke, who only signed recently so I'd guess unfit. The replacement was dire, and he's supposed to have been capped by the Czech Republic!
