I do believe that regardless of whether they send out the first XI or the stiffs, we are cabaple of beating them. They certainly won't fancy playing us, although the stadium will probably suit them better the Meadow would have. Definately a good chance to progress and to be honest I'd rather save the likes of Villa, Liverpool, Newcastle or any of the Europe bound teams for the quarters or semis. Oh and Man City for the final just to show Joe Hart what he's missing out on

Swansea small club with a helpfull council.
Just shows what happens when you have a council backing a club and not being cynically obstructive as ours have always been.

Swans fan here, can't believe I remembered my password for this messageboard! Anyway, I'm happy with this fixture - I haven't visited the Greenhous Meadow before, so a new ground to tick off my list! I remember being disappointed when we were drawn against Hull after they had been promoted to the Prem. So can understand how you lot would be disappointed too. It'll be a tough match though, probably be a weakened team for us, but Sinclair did play against Tranmere and Peterborough last season. I'm sure they'll be on the bench just in case. Don't worry about our fans, we are well behaved, unlike the Cardiff lot, you'll have no problems from us - I think we may bring more than usual to this type of game as it's a new ground for everyone. Though I'm guessing many will be saving up for Arsenal and Chelsea, but on the other hand away tickets for this game will be easier to come by! Looking forward to my visit

Looking forward to my visit Thanks MTJ, I hope you enjoy your visit but not the result obviously Unlike before the new ground isn't massively close to a lot of pubs so do your research beforehand and bring good walking shoes I for one hope the Swans bring their strongest XI cos if we do beat them it would make it all the more satisifing, Derby were near full strength and we played them off the park for long spelss, with the way your lot like to play football then I can see a very entertaining match!

I have to admit I don't see much League Two football, doesn't get shown much on TV anymore - so don't know much about your style of play, but hopefully it will be an entertaining match and beating Derby away was a fantastic result. I'm sure there'll be a few first teamers, we haven't got that much strength in depth in defence, hopefully we'll be able to keep 11 men on the pitch this time, instead of the 9 men we finished with last time!!
