Get down there Friday, can we beat Torquay at home 2-0?
Yes we can.

No it isn't over but we need to play our best game of the season to go through. An early goal is essential.

In a way I'm sort of glad with the result, no I'm not mad. This season we haven't played well for more than 5 or 6 matches before a poor performance. So at 2 nil with the bad performance out of the way we stand a good chance at home.

to right get behind the lads and not slate them as so called fans are doing. Oh shut up heavenly. People who have watched the game and are calling as they see it. Come the game on Friday the same people will be getting behind the side. You probably haven't noticed - being thick - but if you start singing COYB from now and carry it on until full time Friday you're going to get a very sore throat and to no avail.

definitely possible - would have taken 2-0 at half time. 4 seasons ago Yeovil lost 2-0 at home and still went through v Forest.
Pressure now on Torquay.

that was pretty hard viewing. we seemed edgy at the start then completely unsettled when sharps went off. i reckon the 5-0 defeat plus all the hype made about robinson playing against us was in the back of the players minds. when sharps went off i think it completely ruined the teams (albiet little) confidence.
on the bright side, now that we do have nothing to loose maybe this will mean that the players can play free from such concerns on friday?
whatever happens, if we do, by some matter of fortune, get through, we had better play like we actually want to win in the final. i cant stomach another final with another terrible town performance.

As poor as we were, we still have a good chance. If we had gone 3-0 down we would be out of it, however bradshaws goalline clearance keeps us in it.
It won't be easy, and I have a feeling we are going into extra-time and penalties next friday!

Thought we we're in the game up until Sharps went off and then it was just a case of damage limitation. Very poor and lucky to get away with just a 2-0 defeat.
Having said that, we have now nothing to lose and now need to attack, attack and attack friday night and hope we can shake off the Torquay hoodoo and win.

If the same team that plays today starts and Sharps is missing, we can forget promotion this season. And if I'm being honest I don't think we stand a chance of turning it around on Friday. For some reason we just can't handle Torquays movement upfront or get around Branston at the back!

Looking at the way they went about their business last night I'm not sure Torquay do pressure. They'll be more than up for it after last night, it'll be same again from them come Friday...

If Torkey score first you guys would need to score 4 otherwise the Gulls will be going through on away goals; better start well boys.

Well, based on the 3 matches played this season...yep. Lets give em some credit tho. We moan about our bad luck but theyve hit the woowwork 30 plus times too this yr, if half of those had gone in theres a good chance they'd of been promoted automatically. As crap as we were, Torquay wer impressive and friday will be tough. We can do it tho! Keep the faith B & A

Sorry but just cannot see Town doing it. Torquay just need to shut up shop and play a dower defensive game.

Welshlshrew you opened your gob again and got it wrong, you never back up your statements. Anyway you should be barred from B&A as it was you to blame for Jaytee leaving you should not be allowed to post either until he returns.

Anyway you should be barred from B&A as it was you to blame for Jaytee leaving you should not be allowed to post either until he returns. unless they've changed the rules in the last year, away goals count after extra time. Different to the european rules where they apply at 90 minutes. As hugely disappointing as yesterday was, I would have taken 2-0 at half time. I think given the chances they had and the way we played, they might be disappointed with only a 2 goal lead. A goal for Town will totally change the mood of the tie as it would have near the end last night. With one goal we're within Macca distance of them. All the way up to the last minute. A goal for Torquay might finish it though.
