Which are your favs? I'll start with Orient 2-3 Shrews Under Jake King, we were 2-0 down at Leyton Orient, and down to 10 men. In steps Lee Steele in the second half and we win 3-2. Fantastic

Whwn we beat Fulham in the cup in the 90's (95?). seem to remember being 1-0 down and then went down to 10 men before coming back to 2-1. again the memory is hazey bu t i think the winning goal was austin berkely running the length of the pitch to pass to possibly mark dempsey?

MKD 0-3 and 3-3
the best 2 legged comeback i can think of is a 2-0 home win v southampton only 1-0 down from the 1st leg but 2-0 after 90 will do us for starters on friday

Shrews 3 -1 Plymouth. Gregor Rioch had been sent off and we were 1-0 down. Good thread this. Makes me think of the chant "We've come back from worse than this"

Its got to be the Charlton one for me, to be 3-0 down against an opposition from a higher league to win 4-3 is pretty spectacular, made more relevant given that it was this season, although the MK Dons comeback was pretty amazing too. Whist on the Leyton Orient theme, i remember going there and winning 4-2 after being 1-0 down

Leeds in the 1980's. As the Riverside sang over and over again "1-0 down then 5-1 up do dah, do dah" Paul Petts hat trick. Remember it well - funniest part was when the Leeds fans kindly decided to help us re-arrange the furniture in the Station Stand, with most of it ending up on the pitch. Nowadays it would be described as a riot, but back then they didn't even stop the game, just avoided that part of the pitch and got on with it. The Kiddie game in 2005 is worthy of mention too - 2-0 down with 10 mins to go to half-time, Darren Moss decides he's having none of it and scores twice in 5 mins with Langmead adding a third to go in 3-2 up at the break. Won 4-2 in the end. [Oops - just seen Africanshrew has already mentioned that one]

Charlton, Kiddy and MK are the ones that spring to mind in recent times, as well as Gillingham away when we got a 2-2 with two very late goals.
Charlton was incredible really, 4000 or so made that ground one of the best atmospheres I've experienced in it and the celebrations when Harrold's header went in were as if we won the league! Great night

Shrews 4 vs 3 Charlton
To come back from 3-0 down within the first 30 minutes was awesome - and as pointed out previously, 4000 fans make the GM rock that night.
It was my 6yr olds first night game, and he was mesmerised by it all!
Showed our intentions early on in the season that we had a team of fighters who can turn things around.
We've done it once this season, so we can do it again tomorrow night!
COYB!

Season 1989/90
Three one down against Huddersfield at home in injury time and draw the game three all thanks to very late John Mcginlay goals. Also completed a hatrick that day for the great scot. I remembered the equalising goal was one of those fifty fifty's with the keeper with Mcginlay just getting to the ball before the keeper and it rolling ever so slowly towards the goal line and over it just in time before a clearing defending got to it.

Ah - just remembered - away at Colchester season 93/94 - similar scenario - 3-1 down - 2 late goals to draw 3-3 - our first point that season and fourth game in!

I loved the turn around against MK Dons in 2006/2007. We were 1-0 down after a drab performance and a headed goal from Clive Platt.
The second half was a different story and the Franchise looked rattled. Hoover and I continued to heckle their goalkeeper Lee "Shirley" Harper and word quickly spread. After a Jude Stirling sending off, Harper clumsily smashed the ball into the shins of Derek Asamoah and the ball trickled over the line. It was pandemonium in the Wakeman End as middle-aged supporters taunted the beleaguered goalkeeper with " der der der der, Shirley Harper".
Neil Ashton won the game by stabbing the ball in at the back post. The Gay Meadow was rocking that day and I left with the sound of "Martin Allen, you're a w**ker" echoing in my ears.

I have reread this thread and just rememebred the one Loyalshrew mentioned away at Plymouth... that was a mental game! Although Gregor was such a liabilty that season we generally played better when he was out of the team Also the Kidderminster one makes me laugh, I went to meet my wife for the first time in London that day, went to the game watch the first 10 mins or so, and then left jumped in the car and got on the A5 and had Radio Shropshire on and 2-0 down... as I raced out of Shropshire, my crappy old car radio started to fade on RS and herd us get one back, but (in the days before iphones) never got the final score untill arriving in London! Mossy was captain that day as I recall.

My first away game back in 59 was against Chester at half time we were two down but scored 5 in the first 20minutes of the second half helped the town to win 5 -3. The great man himself scored twice not sure about the other scoters.

That was the one I was trying to remember properly. Great game that was! That'll be our championship winning season yea? John Brough scored at least one of those goals at Colchester. What makes it more remarkable was we'd been whipped 6-1 the week before at burnley or preston i think

I seem to remember it being Spink and Summerfield (and maybe Lynch?) with the goals at Colchester... the 6-1 thrashing was on Preston's plastic pitch - it all started with Dave Hockaday thighing a pass back to Paul Edwards who was promptly penalised for picking up a back pass - of course PNE scored the resultant free-kick!
Pretty sure Gareth Ainsworth was playing that day too!

Chesterfield 2 Shrewsbury 4. Think Griifths or Lyne got a hatrick that day. Season 02/3. Town 2 down inside 15 minutes. I think Mr Bason was bouncing on the fence that day.
