Hmm, yet more interesting times ahead for our Welsh neighbours.
At least they continue with the same manager so on the field things may go ok.

Colin Poole.

Does Colin Poole still have his £100,000 of shares in STFC?
Seems very odd that.
A banned director and Shrewsbury shareholder funding a deal fronted by a departed (why was he pushed?) Shrewsbury general manager.

Odd - not a single mention of "Shrewsbury Town" in that article.
To avoid upsetting the Wrexham fans... or hiding something?

It is my belief that Wrexham are being set up to become our feeder club, wait for it when anyone talented at Wrexham is bought by Shrewsbury Town. Andy Mangan is on the horizon I believe. Its all part of Rolands master plan.

Buy the club, then ask the supporters to invest to pay for it................it's all a bit fishy if you ask me, especially with Poole involved - he won't be hanging around with his cash if its under any risk...............

I don't think that's too bad a thing as long as the fans get something back and that's shares and a seat on the board. You would hope that would then carry some power within the club. I mean, the press release looks pretty good, says (for the most part) all the right things... But you then just how much can you believe, just how much can you read between the lines... I’ll wait for twohundredpercent to report back. To be honest I can’t keep up with the comings and goings over there, things seem to change from one day to the next.

Bickerton is not involved as far as we can tell.
Can you please tell us all you know about Harris & Poole. What did they do here, did they invest, why did they leave etc.?

Poole still owns £100k of Town shares. Last time I heard Roland talk about him, he couldn't say enough nice things. But Roland seems a pretty poor judge of character to me.
Luckily for us, the court case meant that Poole's ambitions were curtailed quite a while ago.
Harris was essentially just a security bloke who again Roland liked the look of and gave him an inflated role. I understand their may have been some admin errors on Jon's part and hence he was shown the door. That may be incorrect - who am I to know?
Harris appears to have had several jobs through his career including I believe a stint in the police. Now, I don't know how that ended but it is unusual for a policeman not to do the full 30 years in the job to get their pension.
There are also stories about the cricket trips he used to organise with some people saying that there were a number of people very angry with him for some reason. I don't know the truth in this.
What I do know, is that he looked out of his depth as our General Manager, and neither him nor Poole are the type of people you'd want near your football club.
Harris didn't invest as far as I know.

I might have put the wrong face to the name Jon Harris but hasnt he attended recent Shrews games eg Cheltenham away and would therefore fall into the category "Shrewsbury fan"

Every time I see him or his family/friends, they always have Shrewsbury Town kit/leisure gear on. :-)

Bizarre! Jon Harris, like all of us, is a Salop fan and no doubt always will be. It's not like we can change our allegiance is it? I saw him at Cheltenham too (At the back behind the goal). Guess he's mixing business with pleasure. Hope Wrexham make it back to the league next season because the league needs traditional, well supported clubs, not Crawley and the likes.

The blurp on the Wrexham site pertaining to JH has obviously been written for him. I did'nt run out of breath reading it. JH is obviously the frontman for Poole, as he himself has no money to put into the club. Poole himself is not the sort you would trust with your life savings, so i can see it all going "tits up".
