They got plenty of coverage courtesy of Bill Turnbull on "Breakfast" this morning.
Maybe Bull's losing on penalties remark was a throwaway response to a leading question. But he could just as easily have said " don't be daft, I'm not twisted by the fair outcome of a game 7 years ago. What sort of bitter individual would that make me? Ha ha." Deserves a good few friendly tweets.

Turnbull is a pillock anyway. That much was clear when he was poncing around on "Strictly".

But Bull said: " Shrewsbury still had half an hour to come back. It wasn't like it was an injury time goal."Can't be right that surely?!?!?! If he did indeed say that then that's priceless...

We'll get our revenge over him and Wycombe, even if it takes 7 years, don't worry boys...

I'm still plotting revenge over Leicester City for beating us in the FA Cup in 1982. As yet unfulfilled but one day....

If I remember correctly at the Wycombe game we did come back only for it to be ruled offside and if I also remember correctly there was some disagreement about whether it was or not.

Bury already promoted and by all accounts their players celebrating for 3 days without training until the Thursday prior to the match. You know that to be factual correct or just an assumption??? I only ask cos Im mates with a Bury player (who enjoys the banter and that seems to contridict what i heard.

I do hope you are right about this as it would show a complete lack of professionalism on the part of Bury and I would have thought the footballing authorities would need to know of it as the results of their remaining matches could have affected all sorts of outcomes for the season.

I only ask cos Im mates with a Bury player (who enjoys the banter and that seems to contridict what i heard. It comes from a Shakers supporter. Obviously a splash of champagne on the Monday following the promotion. A team meal/night out on the Tuesday. Player of the Year awards Wednesday. Training Thursday. He was excusing (from his point of view and the fans) their dissapointing performance against Wycombe. After the penalty they failed to show up.

If I remember correctly at the Wycombe game we did come back only for it to be ruled offside and if I also remember correctly there was some disagreement about whether it was or not. Yep and the ref didn't send their man off for a last man tackle, played a non-existant advantage instead, and decided to blow for full-time instead of awarding us a penalty at the end. But Mr Wiggleswort (perhaps understandingly) gets it in the neck!

The marginal offside decision was right at the start of the second half and would have made it 2-0.

Agree Wiggleswort gets it in the neck first. But looking at everything else in that match the selection of the officials on that day was no doubt fate taking a bad shot at us and lady luck shining on Wycombe! Grrrrrr

What a t*****. Just read his twitter page and this guy hasnt been misquoted hes full of hatred for us and hes still upset about that penalty shoot out:
"lol well you had a keeper who was on 6 yard line when every pen was taken"
Other gems include:
"might be easy in a shi*thole like Shrewsbury"
" didnt realise this many Shrews fans exist, more on twitter than at home games, lol"
Also he keeps saying Shrews fans have bad banter. What a muppet hes the one saying lol at the end of everything. I must say I found his banter quoted above to ber very professional, dignfied and hilarious.

Bull's saying all these remarks from a position of (relative) strength. Next time he's at the Greenhous (fingers crossed next year), it's the sort of thing not to be forgotten.

If he was a decent keeper he would have saved a few penalties - ours managed it (Good old Scott Howie)

If he bothered to look at the penalty shoot-out properly he would see that at the point that each ball was kicked Howie was actually only off his line for the first one. For the other two he had a foot on the line at the point of impact. Bull was also off his line for one of ours and possibly off for the Rodgers miss. Bull has gone down in my estimation - what an absolute tool.

At least he's not coming with the usual dull stuff they spout. He sounds more like a fan than your average pro-footballer. No doubt someone will remind him of these remarks when he's next at the GM (probably in a couple of seasons when Wycombe get relegated again). Strange lot goalkeepers.

Have always thought football karma comes round to get you eventually - maybe this season is the football gods making up for our slightly lucky escape from the conference
One day, sometime when they are least suspecting it wycombes none goal will come back and bite them on the bum. Football gods never forget and are cruel in revenge

He thinks Shrewsbury is a sh*thole, yet he spent a few years at Aldershot - what a strange man. Prat!!

"It wasn't like it was an injury time goal" Good point Nikki, in fact, it wasn't like it was a goal at all.

Thank you vodka that has just made me chuckle for the first time since Saturday. This bloke is obviously just another Robinson with no friends and just twitter to make himself known. Surely he knows that one day he is likely to have to be in a goal with a load of us just behind him!!
Even if we don't go up, there are always cup games!!!

I’ve never really gone for this ‘put this up in the dressing room‘ malarkey but I think this one might just do the trick. I do wonder whether any of our lads are aware of the stuff he’s posting. That’d motivate me to make sure I’m on the same park as him next season.
