Bury's keeper has been assaulted after the game, total chaos at the end, looks as if possible fine or even points deduction for Chesterfield for this!

Fighting on the pitch is a bit mental!
Fair play to Bury, heck of a result that is.

Both clubs should have 10 points each deducted immediately.

Looking at the picture I can see kids probably no older than 12 on the pitch.
Disgusting.
As for the fan that chinned the keeper, what a lowlife scum.
Wycombe's winner...

Chesterfield have some real coward supporters.

Looks like a pretty cowardly attack on Belford that - it's from the side, and from the look of his posture he wasn't expecting it as he's not set for it or trying to defend himself. A cheap shot. Am I a bad person for thinking immediately that this might work in our favour by firing Bury up that little bit more against Wycombe as they've now got an added incentive to nick the title of Chesterfield?

I wonder if the FA will be brave enough to deduct points?

Agree Liam, first thing that came to my mind. Sure Bury will be more than motivated now to snatch the title from Chesterfield after that incident...

I was at the game as a Bury fan. As per the VAST majority of Chesterfield fans were superb and very generous in there after match comments. The plank who lamped Cam will be sent down. No sign of aggro after the match at all. In town all morning with a Bury shirt on and not 1 word out of place from their fans. In Pub after game and again they were superb. What a shame a few twonks let both teams down with silly pitch invasions.
Hope to still be playing you next season so good luck.

He looks no older than 18! The others crowding round him should be banned too, especially the big lad behind, guilt by association and no need for it As for the girl flicking the V's her parent's must be so proud

Let's hope justice prevails and Bury beat the low-life scum that is Chesterfield to the title, starting with 3 points against Wycombe on Saturday!

these people are morons
i'm one who loves a spur of the moment pitch invasion too
bizzy at crewe was a classic
hereford against newcastle
eddie cavanagh at wembley
carlisle and jimmy glass
town at morcambe
they are brilliant and add character to the game
physically attacking and abusing players is the lowest of the low call them names from your seat by all means but these examples on this thread are nothing but scum and need locking up
people like them spoil it for real fans, we now get tarred with the same brush

According to the BBC, 3 have been arrested: Police said a 38-year-old man and two boys, aged 13 and 16, were arrested and questioned. They were later released on bail pending further enquiries.

Yeah, defo Pilch. I really don’t see anything wrong with pitch invasions for the most part. Nothing wrong with going on with fellow supporters to celebrate a point or three that gets you up or keeps you up. Just can’t understand why folk would go out of their way while celebrating to assault someone.
Are arrests the best deterrent for this type of thing? Are they the only deterrent? You do wonder what other measures could be taken save sticking the fences back up again. Mind you, still very isolated incidents I suppose. Not happening every week. Just hope it continues that way...
