Just got back from work and had a shower, made a cuppa and fired the computer up. Normal working day for me. Nothing changed really, usual pitch preparation for training. In at 7am to get the watering done before training. The three of us cut all the grass in and around the stadium and put some fertiliser on the stadium pitch. Total Royal free zone, I love my job. I was under the impression Kate did not walk down the aisle to Iron Maidens "Bring your Daughter to the Slaughter" I had two quid on she would

Did'nt particularly rock my boat, and i admit i took the opportunity to take the p... But admit it was a great day for the British people, and good to see so many smiling faces. If you enjoyed your day, brilliant, pleased for you. One fact, when it comes to organisation and pagentry no one does it better than us. I hope to be enjoying my day at Cheltenham tomorrow, along with a few others. COYB

What's so great about seeing a load of people celebrating their own subjugation and gormlessly revelling in the continuation of an antiquated, undemocratic institution, while thousands of ordinary people in this country face hardship. This says it all, really: Is it wrong to think that it is somewhat quirky, and dare I say incomprehensible, that this level of hereditary privilege and blatant inequality goes completely unquestioned and is generally deemed to be a logical, normal state of affairs 674 years later in the ‘age of austerity’?
Other marked examples of almost never discussed dominance of the aristo-fatcats on the British real-estate market include the Duke of Westminster, who is by far the biggest landowner of the country, totalling 11.5 Billion pounds of assets comprising amongst others large parts of Belgravia and Mayfair, and the Earl of Cadogan, proud owner of Sloane Square and large parts of Chelsea as well as Knightsbridge in London.

Have to say I found the whole thing slightly strange. Think communities coming together and holding street parties is great and is something we should do more, but do find the forelock tugging towards the royals slightly odd
I'm sure William and Kate will help modernise the royal family but today felt more like the revamping of old traditions rather than the start of a new relationship between royalty and the public

Didn't watch any of it. This was a marriage of two people who I'm not acquainted with - so it was not hard to find something else to do. Used the very welcome extra day of not having to work for "the man" to visit my in-laws. Father in law is hale and hearty after a bout of ill-health. I fell asleep on the lawn having over-indulged at lunchtime, but woke up in time to do it all again at tea time....

Didn't watch any of it but nevertheless tend to agree with BB with the positive impact it seemed to have on the public. Given all the doom and gloom over recent times then today has been a plus point.

I'll teach you what SUBJUGATION is all about.
