It all seemed fine at Edgar Steet, but seeing as this rules now been firmly stated you might aswell follow it otherwise like Venceremos points out, it would be chaos with half following it and half not.

We will have to wait and see what happens on Saturday re seats but we have been told well in advance that we should sit in the allocated seats - it will just be chaos if some people don't and groups who may possibly include children get split up.
At the end of the day - at least we will be there and supporting hopefully a winning team.

Dissapointed im in the In2Print bit, which is along the side i believe, id rather be behind the goal but if its like Hereford we can get the atmosphere all across, and please please dont listen to the correct seat numbers? Iv never been to a Town game other then Wembley where iv actually seen our fans all follow the correct seat numbers, if someone asks me to move fair enough, but il be in the best place i can find for starts Fair enough that you'll move if asked, Danny, but people shouldn't have to ask. As it's going to be a sell out it'll be a right pain in the a*** if people don't go to the right seats and unfair on those in groups who might get split up because of people wrongly taking their places. Be fair to your fellow supporters. I understand that some people go to the games, to sit down and purely watch the match, but me and everyone i go with and meet there, are there to stand up, make some noise and get the best atmosphere possible, if for example an older couple walk in, see that their allocated seats are right in the middle of our group at the back, they are clearly not going to want to sit there so they will find somewhere quiet. If all the people im going with had our tickets on the front row, whos going to want us to be getting in the way down at the front and disurbing peoples views + conversations Etc? In my opinion thats being fairer to fellow supporters then being in the correct seats, that way if someone desperatly doesnt want to hear us singing down there ear all game they just find somewhere more suited to them.

So Danny, should that be intrepreted as your going to do what you want, regardless of the rules and at the risk of disruption of other fans??

Am i going to sit where i want unless or untill im asked otherwise? Yes, as i said before iv never been to a Town game other then Wembley where iv seen people sit in their correct seats, its not just me, why is it different this time? And as i said before, i believe if me and the people i will be with at the game were on the front row, there would be much much more 'disruption' as you say, to our other fans then if we just went to the back. If you were an elderly woman for example, would you prefer a bunch on pretty young lads to stand and sit around you, shouting, singing and probably swearing for 90 minutes, blocking your view etc even if it wasnt deliberate? Or would you just choose to sit somewhere else in the quiet with a better more view.

But you have already been asked by Cheltenham Town FC, or does that not count?? I've never seen such unwavering respect for authority! I could understand that from a frightened school child but certainly not a middle aged man. Personally I couldn't give a s**te about the wishes of Cheltenham Town FC. I intend to sit in my allocated seat but totally understand the points raised by Danny Morris; a supporter that wants to make some noise and get behind his team. Unfortunately come Saturday afternoon, he will be in the minority as many hundreds of town fans sit down timidly and begin watching the match with their jam sandwiches. Common sense will hopefully prevail and ensure a decent atmosphere without ruining the experience of the elderly, infirm, young and boring.

Geoff, respect for peoples wishes, weather it is an individual or a corporate body is something that is missing in society!! simple really, helps everyone get along. That really is where we will always differ as I do respect others, there opinions, and when it comes to there property, then that can also be included!! Now it seems like Danny has already made his mind up, despite not knowing who he is sat next to, and a little respect for others would suggest that the best course of action, in my opinion, would be to wait and see, then on the day see if someone would be willing to swap seats, but hey, another difference i suppose!!

We've had sell outs at places like Wrexham before, and everyone seemed to find seats that suited them and their friends, even if they weren't actually the ones specified on the tickets.
I don't anticipate any problems.
Superb effort by the Town faithful, should give the side a real lift and go some way to ensuring we take the fight for third place down to the wire.
Really looking forward to it now. Should be a great occasion to be a Town fan.

No remarks or "Top Posts" about respect Geoff, or just resorting to picking on Ned and others now?? I'm not picking on anyone, Paul. Just some harmless banter with my messageboard chums. I agree with you in that respect is an excellent thing to have. I do however think that you can be a little hysterical in your compliance with the establishment, as proven a few seasons ago when you claimed that any kind of standing at the New Meadow would result in inevitable fines, stand closures and point deductions. At the time, I dismissed this as scaremongering nonsense. Many months later I am reliably informed that common sense has prevailed and that dozens of home supporters in blocks 18 and 19 now stand on a regular basis and without opposition. Here's to a pleasing result on Saturday afternoon and a memorable day for us both.
