That's great news, hopefully we will be in full voice and it will spur the boys on to a great win. How much of the stand on the side have we got, i think thats the one i'm in - in2 print stand or something similar.

would loved to have gone, but the trouble is by the time you add on the travel it becomes a lot more and having been to hereford last weekend, and accrington on monday, cheltenham is a little bit too much extra, bearing in mind it was my girlfriend's birthday last weekend, and in addition i'm at a wedding on friday.
particularly difficult as there may be playoffs forthcoming........

Dissapointed im in the In2Print bit, which is along the side i believe, id rather be behind the goal but if its like Hereford we can get the atmosphere all across, and please please dont listen to the correct seat numbers? Iv never been to a Town game other then Wembley where iv actually seen our fans all follow the correct seat numbers, if someone asks me to move fair enough, but il be in the best place i can find for starts

A fantastic turnout for this, I expected 1000+ but not a sell out considering the Accy result and the possibility of promotion in this game gone. Brilliant support.

As it's going to be a sell out it'll be a right pain in the a*** if people don't go to the right seats and unfair on those in groups who might get split up because of people wrongly taking their places. Be fair to your fellow supporters.

And so says Mark Yates......
"We owe the supporters a performance and result on Saturday. We don't want someone coming to our patch and celebrating so that will be a big incentive for us. Shrewsbury will have a big contingent and no offence but we don't them to be celebrating on our home ground. It'll be a decent game and we'll do our best to win the game."

It's not as if people chose their seats though is it. If people make the effort to get there early to get the best seats I'd say they have more right to them as they made the effort - rather than a lucky-dip seat allocation. I'm not saying I will do this, but in principal I think that's fair.

Cheers for that. I'm in Block 7 of the in2print stand but will probably sit up as high as I can in that block unless the stewards are really strict about us sitting in the right seats.

is it the stewards being strict or you being ignorant to other shrews fans.
We have been asked to sit in allocated seats and good manners and respect for other fans of our own should be the response, you sit higher you may be splitting up a group!!

Imagine the chaos at 2:45 if people are changing seats all over the place because some people ignored the allocation. Then people whose seats had been taken would have to take other people's seats and so on. Not to mention that there'll be people taking kids (like me) who really won't want to be split up. And that assumes everyone would be willing to move if asked. Can't imagine all of our fans will be perfect gents when they're with their mates and have had a few. Sorry but that would really p*** me off if our fans ignored the seating allocation when it's sold out.

I hope for a good atmosphere.
I foresee major problems though. Some of our more miserable supporters are going to be located behind singers or vice versa.

Sorry but that would really p*** me off if our fans ignored the seating allocation when it's sold out. What I mean is unallocated seating worked fine at Hereford and Bury (in the Play-Offs) and so I think it is far fairer to let people sit where they choose, if they make the effort to get there early to secure the seats. If people had chosen specific seats then fair enough, that's different. But I'm only saying that is the way I would like to see it work in principal. I'm not encouraging people to do that on Saturday, as people have been told to sit in their allocated seats so that's fair enough - I completely agree it would be chaotic and unfair. I just believe unallocated seating is better for the majority as it takes away all the fuss, and if you want a group of seats together then you just get there a little earlier.

I'd agree with you whenever there are plenty of spare seats, unless someone's requested particular seats. I just think unallocated seating would be a recipe for chaos if tickets had sold out - and I don't think clubs would want to create those problems for themselves anyway. Older fans or fans with kids would have to get there before everyone else, which doesn't seem sensible.
