Didn't see last match but wouldn't mind or be surprised to see SCS back. And agreed that Collins and Harrold should not be up top again.
And who is this Davies in goal?

Pretty much all or nothing for Stockport this weekend isn't it. It'll be fast, furious and we just have to hope our class can pull us through to three points... We should win this (even with Fred Davies in goal) but it's going to be a very difficult afternoon...

Smith Raven Sharps SCS Sadler Taylor Davies Wroe Wright Collins Bradshaw That looks about right to me. You could argue that Ainsworth should be in for Wright, but that would leave our starting line-up worryingly short.

We wouldn't lose anything aerially if Lionel comes in for wright and I'd like to see that change.combo of GTs persistence with wright and an inkling Lionels showed his displeasure at being left out this wk leads me to believe scs for caravan / Bradshaw for barrios will be only changes to last weeks team.

IMO a few changes required for sat against Stockport Neal for smith / gradisons for raven / Taylor on left for wright / lionel right / Sisley an mcintyre for wroe an Davis scs for canavan Bradshaw an Collins up top , crazy selections but I bet that team would perform better than last weeks

Lionel in a free role against the worst side in the league, he will run them ragged.

Ceratainly do need to go looking to shoot at every opportunity in this game - look likely to ship in over 100 goals this season, even worse than us when we went down.

Turner thinks 4 wins from 5 but surely stockport has to be one of them. Hope we just go for it, granted they wont make it easy but there bottom for a reason. Don't want to tempt fate but could do with another Macclesfield, that said the important thing is the 3 points. Although I know some would prefer a narrow victory.

I'd much rather they didn't take the lead, a good morale boosting thrashing would be welcomed, though I would take any win.

Stop worrying FFS. Can see us winning this one 4 or 5 nil, no problem. And whats with all the team changes, lets keep it simple, Smith in goal (still) Taylor and Wright out wide, with Bradshaw and either Collins or Harrold. Simple.

I would like to see Lionel start, either up front or in place of wrighty... this is the sort of game in which he can destroy a team, a la Lincoln

A nice early goal for Town should do the trick. Should get our lads buzzing but mores to the point, should knock Stockport back a fair bit considering their current predicament.
I wonder how many Stockport fans will be making the effort, massive game for them this. Might be a good turnout from them...

Stockport will be without their leading scorer Tansey who is suspended after receiving 10 bookings.
Wasn't there a rumour we were after him?

I can't see 4-3-3 working to be honest, although Ainsworth, Collins and Bradshaw upfront would be formidable we'd have to drop a centre mid and I can't think of a line up which would work. Even if Mark Wright is out I think it would be best to put Ainsworth on the wing rather than upfront so we don't end up being caught on the counter with too many men too far forward. I hope that makes some sort of sense.

No it does not make sense Town are chasing 3rd spot and we are playing a team who are bottom of the league and are there for the taking. It is a ideal time to play 4-3-3.
