Bradshaw should have come on earlier but other than that I thought the players on the pitch were dominating Wycombe and we looked the more likely of the two teams to score a second goal.
In fact if our finishing of the chances we created late on had been taken (as pointed out in other threads) then we probably wouldnt be having this conversation!

Now I know you are on a wind up no he isn't??? get real there is no improvement whatsoever in fact it is worse. I am sure Jamo will feel much more comfortable with his opinion now he knows he has your backing

To say that Wroe has been a massive disappointment since he signed for us is a huge understatement !! He has added absolutely nothing to our midfield nor does he offer anything more or better than is, and was, already here. 4 wins on the bounce when he arrived? I'd struggle to name a better central midfielder in League Two. Don't need to argue on here how good he is though. Just watch his overall game play. Completely agree, although he was'nt at his best today, on an off day he ( and Davis) offer far more than can be produced from the bench. McAllister, when fit, is a class act, but i feel he will show more in a higher standard. I feel we played well second half, our finishing letting us down on many occassions. Wycombe had the best of the first 20/25 mins. but were woeful in front of goal. This is probably the only game i have seen over the years when i can say the referee lost us the game, with no hint of bias. As for Jamo, he is a buffoon, and his knowledge of Association Football can be etched onto the surface of a gnats left gonad. Turner out, oh dear oh dear.

The game wasn't crying out for subs. Davies had had a mixed game but finished strongly in the end and whilst its always good to bring on some extra pace up front for the closing stages, we were the stronger team at the time so why mess?

Said after Torquay last week that he is too slow when making subs - for some reason we stuck to the same plan that wasn't working at all until about 70 minutes when losing convincingly.
Yesterday i agree that we could have done with a sub earlier - indeed the radio shropshire commentators were saying the same - yet it was at least another 10 minutes before we made one.
Disagree though about Turner out.

What I don't understand is on one of the threads it was all the officials fault.....we came within a gnats pube of winning and seemingly didn't win due to the officials. Then our resident functioning volcano of bile erupts to have a pop at the bloke who on any other day would have led us to a 2 or 3 goal win. Some people just have to have a victim... Don't you jut love football

Turner is a great manager. Yes like all managers he does make mistakes. However I am surprised that some supporters are wanting him out. You cannot just keep changing mangers like you change your socks. If you don't give a manager a fair chance, say about three seasons, then all that happens is that the club goes nowhere. Yes we may not get promoted this season but give the guy a break and get off his back.

First season back in charge for GT and we are 4th. Turner out is laughable.

He has added absolutely nothing to our midfield nor does he offer anything more or better than is, and was, already here. What has dissapointed me about Wroe is that I'm sure I read somewhere that he was a 'set piece specialist' at Torquay yet we've seen nothing of the sort? Our poor quality at set pieces is something that desperately needs to be addressed in the near future. Wroes done well since he arrived and looks a decent aquisition, i think if he did take over ALL set pieces it wouldnt be a minute to soon, he delivers a decent ball with pace and takes a decent free kick something our current incumbents seem unable to do. Thought Davies should of been dragged around the hour mark, he looked leggy and was already on a yellow, Bradshaw for Collins was a touch late maybe but then the 1 on 1/ foul came just before he went off.

I'm just a bit concerned that Turner didn't take note of the Wycombe centre half Winfield, was constantly dropping 5 or 10 yards deeper than the other defenders and hence someone with pace should have come on to test this (i.e. either Ainsworth or Bradshaw) - I do get the impression that Turner didn't think there was anyone from the bench that would make an impact yesterday

Once again Mr Turner left it far too late.
Agree we were better team second half but a couple of subs could have secured a victory.
Ultimately missed chances cost us the game but Why does he leave it so late? and why does it take Trewick and Jackson to give get off their arses to tell him what to do? Who's making the decisions here?

His choice of sub today was spot on, although they could perhaps have been made before Bradford scored as the point when they did capped the only passage of the game where they'd been on top for a while.

Agree with you Jamo (sort of). His subs are to late and predictable. Every game a striker off a striker on, usually Bradshaw. Explain to me what Bradshaw is there to offer apart from work rate. I'm afraid all this build up of 'Super' Tom Bradshaw has got to his head I think and obviously Turner believes the hype as well! Back to Turners subs, they are just left to late and when bought on have no/little impact. Today it was obvious Davies was on his last legs and needed to be taken off. With McIntyre and Disley on the bench (two good league two players) why not bring them on! However, taking Wroe off, our best midfielder, what sort of manager do you think Turner is What is Tom Bradshaw there to offer 2 goals is your answer. SUPER TOMMY BRADSHAW
