glad he's been punished properly - inevitable as he already had a suspended ban hanging over him for previous
that includes games against man city, arsenal and chelsea. missing them might have quite an effect.

Was Morhinho banned from the ground once, I remember a farce about earpieces and sneaking in to the ground in a laundry basket.
I bet Fergie has paper cups and string at the ready.
On a serious note, will he learn from this and not do it again ? Probs not and I dare say he is not alone.

The Football Assciation are a laughable bunch of comedians who i dont take seriously anymore, to put it into perspective Fergie gets a FIVE match ban while Gattusos assult on Joe Jordan carries a FOUR match ban, unreal.

Think that's a matter of UEFA's leniency towards Italian football rather than our FA's towards Sir Alex.

nothing wrong with suggesting a ref got a decision wrong, but Fergie criticised his integrity which is out of order towards a ref. And with the intention of subtlely influencing him the next time he refs Man U.
Its one thing for fans to sing One Nil to the referee or you're not fit to referee, but another for a manager of a top club. That's the nub of it Pilch.

what happened to all the jokes about united employing refs ? Well that's exactly what he's done. By kicking up such a fuss, he's ensured Martin Atkinson probably won't referee United for a long time, and definetly not in a big game. Slur Alex will think that well worthy of a 5 game ban. Clever man that Fergie

he also went in with his studs showing and clearly took out the player too leaving him needing 25 stiches and out for 6 months.
Not seen one person protesting at that decision including Evans himself.
Why does there then need to be a debate???

Tackle wasn't nearly as bad as I anticipated on the face of it, it was reckless at best but Evans had no intention of injuring Holden, it's a shame it's put a player out for 6 months As for the red card, we've seen tackles off the scale compared to Evans' with lesser consequences recently, no consistency from referees
