Congratulations! You've just shown your total lack of understanding of the theory and practice of nuclear power generation! [/quote] I am so sorry, I did not realise you are a nuclear scientist. Please accept my most humble apologies Oh and by the way could you enlighten me and others on B&A just exactly what is the theory and practice of nuclear power generation. Thanks in advance

I never claimed to be a nuclear scientist, or to have an absolute knowledge of nuclear physics and it's application and implications in power generation, but I'm still pretty sure I know a bit more about it than you at this time.
Perhaps you could take the time to find out more for yourself, you already have the minimum requirements to do so - ability to read. You may need to work on the closed-mindedness though...

As this thread is Japan-related, can anyone confirm that there was no minute's silence at the game yesterday (Wycombe)? I was there, but didn't notice anything going on, but I may have missed it.

There was indeed no minutes silence.
As far as I understood the move was made that all Premier League games this weekend were to hold a minutes silence to show solidarity to those in Japan. The football League could take part, but it was down to each individual club...
I personally think that if we truly wanted to show 'solidarity' to those affected by the Tsunami in Japan, why couldn't each player, or at least one from each team (say the highest wage earner) donate 1 weeks' wage to the Red Cross, or a similar related rescue group or humanitarian charity. The amount earned, that would go towards the rescue efforts and the continued clean up (which will take months) would be huge, and far more helpful than standing in a circle for 60 seconds of silence... Just a thought.
