Just been told that Steve Leslie has moved to Hereford on loan and that Benji has been told he can look for a new club from a source close to the club

Oh hell. Given our track record. Leslie will be playing Premiership footy in 2yrs and Benji will be captain of the Dutch WC 2014 side....

I'm gutted if Benji is going... never been given a proper run in the side but looked handy when he was
I've thought Lesbo useless for some years now!

Lesbo was on original team sheet tonight but a trialist played instead,Leslie was at game tonight dressed in his town tracksuit,no sign of Benji and Danny only on bench so looks like GT is lookin to next season already.

Saw leslie in his tracksuit when i was going in. Pretty thin bench, 3 trailists in total tonight. Wouldnt surprise me if BvdB is being allowed time to get himself fixed up. Raven to start on Sat, Elder on the bench you reckon?

I'd be disappointed if Benji's gone, I just hoped he'd get a chance.
Leslie I can understand as he's had several chances, but hasn't really kicked on anymore than when he first debuted

Praise the Lord, Steve Leslie might have left the building for the last time. Never had any time for him on the pitch, way past his shrews sell by date!!
As for Benji, still an enigma but never quite looked up to it for me.

If what some are saying Leslie going out on loan hes left the building but he will return. Guessing about Benji don't think he be a shrews player come end of season along with a few others.

I hear the local bowls league needs to some high profile signings?
Maybe Leslie can recommend a few to join him next year

Steve Leslie has only himself to blame for the position he now finds himself in. I have watched Steve since he was 13 and he has amazing talent and a good left foot. I have watched him play in numerous positions and it may suprise you but I think this guy would make an excellent left back............in a postion that he would have a job to do instead of managers giving him roving roles..........I also think that he really does need to move on, if only to save his career, good luck to him. as for BVdB, I think he would be worth another year to prove himself.

Just seen Lesbo now at the ground. He got into his car the same time i got into mine. He was clutching some paperwork looking quite glum.

Leslie's first game for the town was a sub appearance where he played left back i think. I remember saying to my dad that i wouldn't be surprised if we never saw him again in the first team - he was awful.
Disappointed about Benji, but its been coming, best for him to find a new club for next season. I just hope it doesn't come back to haunt us.

It seems no one has a good word to say about Leslie. If the rumour is true i am shocked he has got another league club to take him.I thought he would be heading for Telford.

I think it was GP who tried Leslie at left back.
He certainly has talent, but lacks some qualities needed at League 2 level.
I hope a change of club gives him a new focus.

Will this actually be confirmed soon by the club? as for both, I feel a lot more for Van Den Broek, puts more effort in than Leslie and has made a big effort to get over to England, he's victim of not also being played in his correct position. Which I find it odd that Robinson got the place at the start of the season, then is instantly replaced with Collins and Bradshaw, VDB has been very unlucky with injuries, I'm sure he'll find a new club soon. As for Leslie, not sure I can think of anyone that has frustrated me in a town shirt over the years, there's sentiment attached to him because he's local and because he's the last one left to play at the old ground. For his career it could be the best thing for him, I'm surprised a manager like GT hasn't managed to get the best out of him. On his day Leslie was a great player (remember a dull game last season against Dagenham, where he came on for Disley and scored and made one for Hibbert in minutes, but then how uninterested he looked in the middle against Torquay at home)

His untimely injuries havent helped either at times when he was getting some first team minutes anyway
