Good old Blue and Amber, always guaranteed a bit of an over-reaction after any type of defeat! It's not 'any type of defeat', though, is it? It's a total drubbing, of which one of own players was a co-architect. You've got to expect fans to be a bit p**sed off about that. Why should fans be expected to exhibit Spock like detachment when their team loses in this manner? If we'd won 5-0 should we exepect fans to offer a polite round of applause at the end and trundle out muttering 'still, one swallow doesn't make a summer'? They're two sides of the same coin. If we want passionate, loyal supporters who give a ****, expect them to be upset when their team gets humiliated! I'm sure most take a more considered view once they've cooled down a bit, it's just heat of the moment reaction.

To be fair El Mundo...it's a five nil dickin at the business end of the season and we've conceded two goals to a player who is on our own books. Granted I don't think we are out of automatic promotion contention however, I can understand why Town fans are a tad miffed this evening... In allowing Torquay to play our own player who then goes and scores a brace just makes us look daft... Yeah but apparently the season is over and we are a rubbish team. One look at the league table suggests otherwise, no matter how bad it was at torquay.
