The fact it's on a Tuesday night shouldn't make a difference. We a good crowd to your crappy little area of Stoke on a Tuesday night...and don't get me started on the lap of honour your players even after that game because you were top. Ha!

It really is quite hilarious that you've failed to do so given how much cr@p we've heard over the last few months about how there'd be hordes of Stokies spilling out into the home end due to demand. Looks like the 1400+ we to you a couple of seasons back will remain the highest total for now after all. Very odd seeing as you are, after all, such a massive club. I must say I'm surprised Vale couldn't sell 1300, especially when you break that figure down and remember that in reality it's actually just 650 genuine Vale fans, alongside the 650 social workers that are needed to accompany each of them when they're allowed probation from their shanty town into the real world. this post just shows how thick the welsh really are. We cant bring 1400 as we were only given an aollocation of 1300 anyway and dont worry mate there should be 1200 Vale fans heading your way in the next few hours, win loose or draw your record against us is s**te and a win for you tonight wont change that

Let me spell this out for you in nice, easy stages: 1) You could have taken 1300. 2) You have not taken 1300. 3) 1400 is more than 1300. 4) Because you haven't taken 1300, it therefore follows that you would also have failed to take 1400 had the opportunity arisen. * 5) This is highly amusing, since we've heard a lot of nonsense about how Vale's away support is enormous and will comfortably dwarf our own. * I'm presuming this is the bit that stumped you.

We'd sold 1034 by close of play yesterday with up until 2pm today for more to be sold. I seem to recall at our meeting in September, you shifted a few tickets late on yourselves. So lets just see what the final figure is later on shall we.
Whilst you may have brought 1400 to us a few seasons ago, you also hold the record for smallest following when only 673 of you came to ours on the last day of last season.
I'll list a few excuses we have for our poor showings at your place over the last couple of seasons, you can either except them or reject them. If you reject them though, not one person can make any excuse for the pitiful shower of a following you brought here last season.
The 989 we brought two seasons ago was following 6 defeats on the bounce and the appointment of one of the worst managers we've ever had. Yes, football fans are fickle, it happens at all clubs. Last season we brought 1155, 29 less than you did earlier in the season for a top v 2nd match. May I also add, no less than 7 days after the match at yours last season, we 2220 to Crewe. Some people could afford both, a lot couldn't, so a lot chose the easier option of going 12 miles up the road.
This season is a strange one. If we were playing at your place in September, 1st v 2nd, with MA as our manager. No doubt 1300 would have been sold and we'd have been requesting more (whether we got them or not would be another matter). As it stands now, we've a manager that a lot of our fans dislike, there are massive issues off the pitch, we're down to 6th in the table, and the most important excuse of all...its pancake day, dont get in the way of our pancakes ;-). Seriously though, I think that if we dont get 1200 there tonight, regardless of excuses, its very poor.
The Vale fan above mentioned a few of our away followings so far this season. I'd like to elaborate. We 1959 to Bury, 2,356 to Macc, 1800 to Burton, 2,260 to Crewe, 1300 to Stockport and are top of the average away followings in the league. Last time I looked we were the only club averaging over 1000. So, given the facts, I'd say we've every right to be impressed with our followings, given the league we're in.
Now I expect a few replies along the lines of, it means nothing, you dont get 3 points for good followings and the likes. I agree, it means jack sh*t...however, it means something to every single person on this thread who's made a point of mentioning it, therefore its worthy of discussion.
As for the game, offer me a point now and I'd rip your hand off. Fingers crossed no mither on or off the pitch, and lets enjoy the match ladies.

Stockport 40 miles 1,300 we will take more than that 52 miles down the road at Hereford. Bury 57 miles 1,959 was a good effort yet it was the opening day of the season. We are the only club to sell that end out (2,088) completely since Manchester City. By the way we 2,500 to your lovely neighbours. So don't give us the big I am club at the moment you are no bigger or better than us in terms of your support. Get a grip your crappy Vale from Burs-Slum and we are super Shrewsbury, we are a better class people, cheerio.

People from Wales know that Shrewsbury is in England. Yet people from Stoke think Shrewsbury is in Wales or is it just Port Vale, this must mean that you are definately thicker than Welsh people. Port Vale fans are class A Dim Lows.

There's a football match on tonight for you all to watch when you've finished counting heads.

Distances from Vale Crewe 12 miles Macclesfield 18 miles Those 2 above are like us playing at Wolves, Wrexham or Telford where we around the same if not more during our conference season. Get a grip your cr@ppy Vale from Burs-Slum and we are super Shrewsbury, we are a better class people, cheerio. Likewise, we about 2,800 to Burnley (a Championship side) 72 miles away. Yeah, on a Saturday afternoon.
