Australia says NO - Second Time she has done this! AMAZING You must read it !!!! She's done it again.. She sure isn't backing down on her hard line stance and one has to appreciate her belief in the rights of her native countrymen.. A breath of fresh air to see someone lead. I wish some leaders would step up in Canada & USA . Australian Prime Minister does it again!! This woman should be appointed Queen of the World.. Truer words have never been spoken. It a lot of courage for this woman to speak, what she had to say for the world to hear. The retribution could be phenomenal, but at least she was willing to take a stand on her and Australia's beliefs. The whole world needs a leader like this! Prime Minister Julia Gillard - Australia Muslims who want to live under Islamic Sharia law, were told on Wednesday to get out of Australia , as the government targeted radicals in a bid to head off potential terror attacks.. Separately, Gillard angered some Australian Muslims on Wednesday by saying she supported spy agencies monitoring the nation's mosques. Quote: IMMIGRANTS, NOT AUSTRALIANS, MUST ADAPT.. Take It Or Leave It. I am tired of this nation worrying about whether we are offending some individual or their culture. Since the terrorist attacks on Bali, we have experienced a surge in patriotism by the majority of Australians.' 'This culture has been developed over two centuries of struggles, trials and victories by millions of men and women who have sought freedom' 'We speak mainly ENGLISH, not Spanish, Lebanese, Arabic, Chinese, Japanese, Russian, or any other language. Therefore, if you wish to become part of our society . Learn the language!' 'Most Australians believe in God. This is not some Christian, right wing, political push, but a fact, because Christian men and women, on Christian principles, founded this nation, and this is clearly documented. It is certainly appropriate to display it on the walls of our schools. If God offends you, then I suggest you consider another part of the world as your new home, because God is part of our culture.' 'We will accept your beliefs, and will not question why. All we ask is that you accept ours, and live in harmony and peaceful enjoyment with us.' 'This is, OUR LAND, and OUR LIFESTYLE, and we will allow you every opportunity to enjoy all of this. But once you are done complaining, whining, and griping about Our Flag, Our Pledge, Our Christian beliefs, or Our Way of Life, I highly encourage you take advantage of one other great Australian freedom, 'THE RIGHT TO LEAVE'.' 'If you aren't happy here then LEAVE. We didn't force you to come here. You asked to be here. So accept the country YOU accepted.' Maybe if we circulate this amongst ourselves in Canada & USA , We will find the courage to start speaking and voicing the same truths Thought you would appreciate this Heavenly Shes not wrong is she? Even a right wing idiot has to see the irony and large degree of hypocrisy in the above ramble.

I wonder what the aboriginal peoples of Australia think of all that bull . Yes Australian 'culture' was developed over two centuries; after another one was institutionally and systematically destroyed.

Great find Jonah, this is the point i been trying to get across for ages on here.It has nothing to do with skin colour, religion it has to do with staying within our law and abdapting to our way of lives.[/quote] But surely Heavenly you and Jonah must realise that the Australian Government are made up of immigrants whose families sometime over the last 200 or so years moved there and were guilty of destroying a native culture. If Jonah has ever visited Australia he will know its one of the most racist societiesin the world. Anyone who supports the views of Ms Gillard are in reality racists. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Indigenous_Australians

Supporters of Ms Gillard are racist You support Ms Gillard Therefore you ........ Thats called Logic ? So everyone who supports Labour likes trade unions? So everyone who supports Conservatives likes big society? Just because you support a political party / political figure doesn't mean you agree with every single policy they adhere to or every word they speak.

How odd, Heavenly. Jonas' post was more than 3 lines yet you seem to have read it. Could it be that you don't get 'bored' by posts that you agree with but only those where you are asked questions you can't answer? So how about it? Are these Muslim people entitled to go about their lawful, peaceful business without interference?

Am I missing something? Isn't that Gillard quote the recycled 'Australian PM tells it like it is' story accredited to Howard and Rudd on this board before. Someone posted a link busting this as complete rubbish. I will eat my Town shirt if that is a genuine recent quote from the Aussie PM. Just found this. Gillard seems to be recycling quotes never made by the previous PM 2 years after he made them, www.hoax-slayer.com/howard-muslim-speech.shtml

Can I ask what it is in particular that makes you believe multiculturism has not/ will never work in Britain? I was once told i couldn't walk down a street in Brum because i am white, and i would get stabbed. I can't imagine that was the intention behind multiculturalism. That must have been quite a scary moment for you. Can I ask where abouts in Birmingham it was? Appreciate you answering the question on this thread which no one else has done.

Well, this seems to have caused a bit of a stir and drifted into an interesting debate on multiculturalism.
First of all, let me apologise for not making myself clear in the original post. It wasn’t speculation on my part or an attempt to smear the EDL for political purposes but merely the reporting of a real incident that is well know in the area where I do a lot of business.
That I didn’t specify this is, presumably, the reasons some posters questioned its legitimacy and asked why I, personally, hadn’t contacted the police. I would have posted a link to explain but I see that this has already been done.
I must dispute the accusation of bullying and would be interested to hear how anything in my original post could be construed as being so.
My thought process was very simple. Heavenly had previously posted a comment to the effect that the EDL should be entitled to ‘freedom of speech’. Perfectly fine but I linked this to the incident in Shotton where, according to fact (and eye witnesses that have spoken to me) an EDL demo occurred and there was later a fire at the premises in question.
My question was, therefore, a direct response to Heavenly’s point and not in any way a random point pulled out of thin air. Surely it is perfectly acceptable to pick up on something that someone posts and develop/question their viewpoint. If not, then I’m missing something.
It’s quite straightforward, really. Are these citizens of Deeside entitled to purchase a building and open it up to the local community to use a cultural centre or not. And, if not, how is this compatible with the notion of ‘freedom’ as previously expressed?

Hi Ant, well i am not that familiar with Brum, and it was dark and quite late. We had been clubbing and i recall getting in a taxi and it dropped us off not far from the city centre (still within walking distance). However i do remember a 'massage parlour' called Liberty's being right by us when we were warned/threatened. There was a few massive tower flats right by us too. I guess unless you like your 'massage parlours' then you might struggle to pinpoint it. I wish i had made note of the actual street name etc. Your right though it was a massive shock to me as living in Shrews i have never encountered racial hatred towards myself before. Scary stuff indeed.

If you are going to ask me a question can you please make sure it is no longer than 3 lines,or else i get bored and cant be bothered to read it all as this is what has happened in this case You know, I must have seen many thousands of messages posted on various Boards over the last few years but I have to say that this is undoubtedly one of the most pathetic I've ever come accross. I spoke with an EDL member in West Bromwich today, I asked him with regard to the Welsh issue, he stated and I quote "We ain't got no problem with Wales as long as it isn't Muslim"..word for word. So note to OSC coach users you will be OK as long as your Dragon is not wearing a Burka....

Where are the answers to the question asked It seems that after all the wailing and gnashing of teeth over this thread, there seems to have been a deafening silence. I can understand Heavenly's disappearance. He always goes AWOL when he gets stumped. But what about everyone else? Particularly those who (with the honourable exception of LS) were so critical of the original post. Ok, I’ll start. Yes, they are entitled and to prevent them would be wrong. Anyone else have an opinion?
