Thanks a lot for that Ant you person who serves drinks in a licensed establishment!! I'd made allowances for the late comers and any hitches in finding the place by leaving at 6am. In reality 6.30am would have been well early enough for a 10.30 kick off. Now I find out it's an 11am kick off. Right everyone on the mini bus we are leaving at 7.30am so as we get there late & wee wee off Mr Thomas!!

Find out if there is a drinking establishment near to where you are playing football. Seeing the Gaffer in those bloody shorts is enough to Turn you into a p**shead. GPricey is as bad

In all serious Ant, I know what you mean. When I was organising the games it used to infuriate me like mad when we got to a game late. I always felt responsible as the organiser, even though it used to be the likes of Belton who would turn up half an hour late or more in the morning, thus putting us on a race against time.
That is why I had allowed 4 hours for this trip, assuming a meeting time of 10am for a 10.30 kick off. There is no way it will take that long to get there even with a stop off for half an hour at the services.
I will now have to contact 17 people off the mini bus, plus those who are going by car to tell them we will leave at 6.30am instead.

The nearest pub to Queens Road is probably the Squirrel (turn left out of the cul de sac, turn left at the end of Queens Road and the pub in on your right) however, as the game won't finish 'til 1ish and it's a good couple of miles to the ground you're probably better off heading straight for the clubhouse (very friendly, cheaper than the local public houses and we need the money) ;D

As Gaffer can't make it, who will be in charge of the team?
Wynnie - are you going?

"Myself, fagin, Throb and Billbo" - actually that would be quite funny - make Quinn, Rivers, Cooke and Bates look amteruish faginy will be looking to play ant in the hole like Cramb, Norge will drill into us the offside rule as he know it so well him self, Throb will employ a monkey in the Left back slot and Billbo...... well go only knows what he would do
