Witchfinder - the number you've posted is coincidently very similar to their average attendance. I assume this was deliberate on your behalf?

I'd still rather be in the League they are in! Would you rather be a toilet-cleaner in a nice house or an apprentice lawyer in a s**tty flat? Who has the better future?

Struggling at the moment, but GT knows what is required & will do his utmost to provide it. I have every confidence that we will still be playing in L1 next season. Great start for you folks, keep it up & you'll be joining us.

Long way to go yet, I remember Bristol Rovers had a shocking start a few years back and went to get to L2 playoffs and won. Shrews on the other hand had a great start last year and..well you know the rest. Null point so far but not outclassed, some new faces needed but I would be suprised if we go straight back down.

Hereford have lost by a single goal on a couple of occasions I doubt they expected to be at the topend of the table but I think they will avoid relegation

Well it is a tough league, bigger clubs more finance we are their but we have to try and stay their.
Although we have lost it's only by one goal in each game but it is going to be a hard season .
But well done on your start in your league.

Not the best start for the wurzels but i think they'll be alright come the end of the season. Turner will get it right.

Morning Mary Ellen Last away following of 1,400 reduced by 50% to 700 for todays "local game against your rivals" I'm told. Projecting a 50% fall onwards I reckon Leeds will offer your lot the entire away dug out and put Turner and his mates in the stand

Could this perhaps give a clue as to one of the major problems..... (Extract from this weeks Bullsnews) It has been 30 years since Bulls coach John Trewick left his mark on architectural reviews by passing comment on the Great Wall of China. Three decades have passed since Ron Atkinson led West Bromwich Albion on a pioneering end-of-season trip to China and their hosts organised a photo opportunity for the squad which has become part of tourist folklore. As we all know, footballers can be a dull lot by nature, but although the trip was optional, Big Ron thought his players would jump at the chance to enjoy a spot of culture at one of the seven wonders of the world. Surprisingly, however, midfielder John Trewick decided to stay behind, even though such works outings were a rare treat for western tourists in a country hermetically sealed to outsiders by Communist rulers who operated under the maxim that if you open the windows, you let in the flies. Trewiks reason for giving the Great Wall of China a miss remains one of the classic one-liners of his era: "Once you've seen one wall, you've seen them all."
