Duane's improved shedloads since his back injury and following lean days, bagging a few, loads of attitude, and got the fans behind him with his no-nonsense have-a-go football. Sorry, you can't have him back

The Duane Darby Appreciation Society, formed not much more than a month ago, has now gained close to 40 members.
Says it all.
No Duane No Gain

Has seemed a good player, but his touch is always a bit too heavy IMHO. Needs better distribution IMHO!

What's wrong with your management team? Why will they P**s him off? Apparently the reason we lost him was because of our EX-Manager Good Luck With him, The Duane Darby Appreciation Society should go on forever, i can't praise him enough! Duane Darby m'lord! I thought part of the reason Rushden sold him because they couldnt afford to keep him, same with Onandi Lowe and whats his face,ex-coventry dude, little black winger played for Jamaca, bloomin good player-paul hall?

No it was mostly our manager that drove poor Darbs away shame really coz we had battled so hard to get the directors to give him a contract as well. The thing with Onandi and Paul well, Onandi was extremley difficult player to manage, he turned up to training when he wanted, went away on winter trips andexpected a car and house to be bought for him by the club apparently. He left because Coventry offered him more money and although we're suffering on the goal front now i think we are better off without him here. The story with Paul Hall is different, Paul Hall was asked to go because we needed to lower the wage bill and we were paying for his quality, he was another top player and very close to Duane (another brummie boy lol) Not the same without Hally on the wing but i suppose we are coping? lol we just end up with 6 men and 4 boys playing for us lol never mind Rushden Fan.

I've been a slow convert to the Derby cause.... but one of the highlights of a p*ss poor season for me was watching Darbs wind up the Barnet back four at Underhill... the fact that he scored the winner is incidental.

He's had a few superb games, a few ok games, and a few stinkers.
Has been unable to form a partnership with anyone and hit his poorest form at the time when we were still in with a chance of chasing the title. Looked like an average striker then,
Nevertheless, having found his committment and goalscoring boots, he is our one in-form striker (without the talent of Rodgers and Cramb).
The jury must surely still be out.
