Not at all keen about being one of several teams in blue and white. If I do buy one, it will be purely out of loyalty, and hopefully with a promise of a return to blue and amber, 12 months hence.

I think this is unfortunately the perfect excuse to change our club colours to blue and white.
The commemorative kit would have made more of an impact and recognised the 125 year anniversary more if the previous shirts leading up to this kit had a lot more amber in. That way this latest shirt would have been a major change.
Instead we manage to get less and less amber onto the shirt each season. Why can't the club recognise it's unique to us?!

The first home kit we had when we moved to new ground was blue, white and amber, and I bought that but vowed that it would be the last time I would by a home kit with white in it and I'm sticking with that. Blue and amber are our home colours.

Our home kits have always been a minefield to be fair. When the Patrick kits under Jake King were the much requested Blue and Amber stripes we moaned.... When we got the Blue and Amber 'Ajax' kit under Peters we complained.
Perhaps finally we have an internationally reknowned kit manufacturer at the helm we can move on from those MG sports, Shrews Wear, A-Line etc fiascos.

and also ' Blue & White ' ? that is a backward step even for the 125th .
Mr. Wycherley will try to maneuver things to ' ease ' amber out of all subsequent kits in the years to come .
Mark my words !

Mark my words ! is he going to replace all the amber seats and the amber on the badge too? why do people complain about not respecting our history, but dont want one of our original colours?

Im not sure why the mass hysteria at the the club having a plain blue kit really, especially as its claimed to celebrate 125 years of the club. If you look at the historical records then it has primiarly blue or blue and white www.historicalkits.co.uk/Shrewsbury_Town/Shrewsbury_Town.htmFor the record, Id love us to have blue and amber stripes and stick to them. We would have a very unique kit and identity which we currently dont have. However in my time Ive seen us play in an all white kit, yellow & blue stripes, a number of plain blue shirts and a couple of recent blue kits with a dash of yellow. Not to mention the terrible scrambled egg kit. Therefore I dont think its a major thing to play in all blue for one season. Its not like Liverpool changing to blue or Aston Villa ditching the claret, Celtic ditching the hoops etc Ive seen quotes from various people at the club saying that it will be blue for this season and then fans will have the opportunity to choose to go back to blue and amber the following season. If they dont give us that option then start kicking up a fuss
