Looks a good signing this. Don't know much about him mind, just what's said on here and on links provided. Time will tell. Welcome and good luck Mark Wright.

Still at least 3 players short.
1. Goalkeeper.
2. Creative central midfield player. (Key one this I feel!)
3. Goal scoring striker.

Nearly an hour and no negative comment, someone must be out to lunch. Yes, was at lunch! :-) .... Journeymen United!! Not sure why one of their fans says they must have told real porkies to get the deal done - Nor why another comments ...Thank god for that, that bloke was a waste of space ! .... maybe we will find out !! www.brfcforum.co.uk/index.php?/topic/90934-wright-gone/One thing I was hoping was that GT would do better in the transfer market. Nor why another comments- "and at league 2 level, im sure he will be a decent winger." Sounds like he's had an awful time at Bristol Rovers, with comments on that thread about fans giving him a rough time. However, as others have said, he's got a decent record at League 2 level, and looks like a decent signing.

Surely "lp" is still under contract at Carlisle.

He had a very good game for MK Dons in the 3-3 home draw the season MK Dons went up - I am pretty certain he scored at least 1 that night and ended up scoring about 13 for the season. Scored twice that night - looked very good if my memory serves me well. Mind you, so did Constable

Been needing a decent right sided winger since Humphrey left, glad Turner's looking at the holes that need replaced and not clogging the squad players we don't need.

you seem really critical about some of the signings, and could be fair comment, time will tell. but can i ask, can you give us a few examples of players you would like to see come here? As I said on the other thread ... As for alternatives - nope I can't answer the question because I don't know know what our budget is do I? Nor do I know about of the thousands of players who could be let go, is not happy, is out of favour etc elsewhere. Nor does anyone on here. However I do seem to recall us selling a striker last summer for 450K having bought him for 170K - an issue debated many times on here. I also recall us bidding £100K a couple of times for Benson and O'Flynn. Maybe there will be more cheerful news today - but not as yet :-( maybe we sold said striker for that amount to balance the books? (realistic i would say for a league two side) i would also say using the "100k" people are saying would pay for 2 decent players wages in league two, so maybe thats been put towards that or towards a loan. You are right, we dont know know whos unhappy at clubs and whos unavailable! The fact of the matter is, NONE of us actually know very much! So why NOT actually support what we do get in? Its not about what we COULD get, its about working with what we DO have surely? My opinion (for what its worth?!) Turner has signed better players than simpson did, BUT i could be proven wrong, time will tell. Until then keep the steady signings going and build towards a "promotion" side, who usually dont involved one or two MASSIVE players, its TEAM sport. Im sorry cos it seems as if im picking on posts from Peter, but sometimes it baffles me as i said before.
