Tidy defence now IMO. Holden, Taylor, Sharps, SCS, Raven, Goldson, Hooman and Sadler.
Good Work GT,
As Sam says, Midfield and Strikers next please

Good stuff, looks a decent backline on paper and we have enough options at centre half now.No doubt the doom merchants will complain we still have no strikers but i am sure GT is on the case.

Good Work GT, As Sam says, Midfield and Strikers next please Would be a very defensive team if all of them were in the same starting line up Looks a good signing and some more experience at a higher level also hope he is used as a right back as i think Holden looked a bit suspect towards the end of last season.

Well let me as usual be a doom merchant so that Heavenly can use his favourite word. Turner says he wants 4 new signings. Number 1 is Raven, No 2 could be Toumani Diagouraga that leaves 2 slots for a striker and creator. So yes I am getting quite worried. We as sure as hell wont lose too many matches but how many will we win.

Good signing. Thankfully a few are coming at once now, having started to worry at the beginning of the week this has reassured me we are able to bring them in and things are happening behind the scences. Midfielders of the attacking form and strikers I'm sure will arrive soon, its weeks til we desperately need them. You've gotta get it right with strikers - they win you games.

So just remind me how many defenders have we signed and how many strikers and creative midfielders have we signed? Just one more question what was the biggest problem last season?

GT has said he's speaking to four players, two of which will give us creativity and goals. Signing's will be here soon! Have some bloody patience!

Are you aware that you can't just pick 11 players on August 7th and expect them to do well. It takes time for teams to gel. You may not be able to win the league in the first 2 months of the season but you sure as hell can make it difficult to win it.

If you believe that the defence was the problem last season I'd suggest you didn't see many games. If you think 1 additional creative player in midfield and one striker will solve our problems from last season you have a lot more faith than me.

But we've not played a friendly yet or done the 'bonding' bit down in Devon so there really is plenty of time to bring in what will be 3/4 more new faces at most. I'm sure Wayne Clake arrived a few days before the first game and we won the title.

Don't forget the fact we're also on the lookout for a goalkeeper. I'm obviously just guessing here, but it could be that Turner means four permanent signings, and is planning to top the squad up with loan players if and when he deems it necessary. It's also possible that in BvdB Turner reckons he already has a good creative midfielder.
